    Mixed wine flight and charcuterie
    Beth W.

It's beautiful here! They sell kitschy knick knacks and the most unique and beautiful pumpkins! This time of year (I'm here in October) The pumpkins are STUNNING-- variety of sizes and prices ($12-$120) but they have unique scaring that is so stunning. Peacock Cellars is a cute quaint spot off the beaten path. If you make your way out here, the veggies are FRESH and amazing. I bought some tomatoes, an onion, a bell pepper, and the biggest persimmons I've ever seen! They have a farm stand feel, open air and covered. We stayed to wine taste with a charcuterie plate. Everything was delicious!

Peacock Cellars offers a unique and approachable tasting experience, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a whimsical spot in the quiet hills outside Arroyo Grande. The property has a charming, antique-store vibe, complete with seasonal produce, country music, and a welcoming atmosphere. One thing that had kept us from visiting before was their no-pets policy, which I completely understand, but it made things tricky since we often travel with our fur-daughter (who happens to be a fan of a good wine flight, too!). For our tasting, the flights were pre-poured, which isn't my favorite approach. I prefer learning about each wine as I sip, and the smaller pours didn't leave much room for exploration. Still, we found a sunny spot up the hill to enjoy the views. The ambiance leaned more lively than peaceful, with games of mancala nearby and a group hosting what looked like a mini family reunion. It's a social spot--don't come here expecting solitude. As for the wines, they weren't quite my style. Many felt young and a bit out of balance, though the whites had their moments, and the rosé was solid. At this price point, there's likely something for everyone to enjoy, especially if you're new to wine tasting or looking for a laid-back vibe. While I'd love a more interactive, guided tasting, it seems Peacock Cellars has carved out a niche that works for their style.

    A beautiful Bordeaux style blend

Family owned boutique winery with natural charm. Beautiful wines. Bring a picnic or some snacks and buy a bottle of their wine. I highly recommend their Bordeaux style blend called "Righteous". Local curated snacks for sale, tomatoes, basil, eggs dried fruit, fruits, and cheese plates. They also offer a variety of baked goods. Just a little slice of Central Coast Heaven.

Coolest little winery, an unexpected surprise! Enjoyed an afternoon of shopping, tapas, wine, and a cute outdoor patio setup with live music. We went on a Saturday and had a great time with some girlfriends. I tend to live in the moment and put my phone down and enjoy my company. I need to get better at taking pictures for sure. I took some while shopping and exploring, but not of the wine and food offered. I will do so next time, I plan on returning with my husband

Always my favorite winery on the coast. Staff is always so friendly and wine is delicious. We bring snacks and open a bottle of wine and enjoy. I always enjoy the ambience and view. Highly recommend Peacock for a great tasting.

Do Not come here if you're not white! So my cousin and I decided to visit this winery as we passed by it frequently. We also discovered on the website that if you became a club member that you got two free tastings. This sounded like a great idea to try a new place. As we walked in and looked around, we spent about 20 minutes looking at products, looking at wines and standing up at the bar. No one greeted us. No one acknowledged us. It was as if we were invisible. At this point we are already wine club members. I stood back for a second to see the reaction as new people were walking in and lo and behold, they were all greeted and offered wine. My family has been in this town for over 100 years and I will say I will never be back to this winery a I've leaned that my kind is not welcomed there. Update: I was sent a threatening voicemail and letter from the business owner stating that my review was untrue and that I should take it down or else she was going to go public with my review. I'm not sure what that means but she said it. So I'm updating my review to say that I was not there for 20 minutes. She did inform me that I was there for six minutes. Also, one thing I do wanna add is that, after canceling my membership, I still got charged the $50 so thank you for bringing that to my attention so I could also mention the fact that this company does not respect or honor cancellations. You will still get charged so people beware!

My husband and I recently stopped by for a tasting at Peacock Cellars. We opted in for the all red flight. The Pinot Noir and Farm Kid were our favorite and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Located on a farm with lines of vineyards, this cute farmhouse style tasting room is cozy, well decorated and inviting! Peacock Cellars has a lot of Christmas decor for sale since it is now December! We enjoyed wine tasting here outside in the patio and got to shop around and look at the baked goods and salsa while we waited for our wine flights to arrive. It looks like a really fun place for a group to hang out during the warmer months. They have a really large patio area in the back.

    Cutest little winery and farmstead

Beautiful family/kid friendly winery and farmstead. Good service and wines. Lots of cute little things to shop for and farm grown produce, eggs, charcuterie boxes to pair with your wine and a variety of freshly baked goods. I couldn't get enough photos of this charming place. A bit on the pricier side but great experience overall. Love that is owned by a local family. Very patriotic and here for it! Can't wait to return.

    Fall Fun‼

Always good service, reasonable food and the vinery and hillsides are amazing. I've greatly enjoyed the variety of wines

I really enjoyed my small tasting flight there, didn't even mind paying the extra 28.00 for the cheese plate. Had seen on their website and was told at the tasting bar that the tasting was complimentary if I purchased wine or a membership. I purchased 6 bottles of wine, a bottle of olive oil and several gifts to take home. After tip, I spent over 400.00. Got home and in reviewing my receipts, I saw that I was charged 20.00 for the tasting....hmmmmm I called and left a message. No one returned my call. Called back today and spoke to a lady who said she was the owner and that they have never comped tastings nor would they ever and no one who works there would ever say that because they never do that. She spoke to me as if I was delusional. I went back and found their website. To be sure that I had read it right. Please see my screenshot from their website, and my receipt. The 3 stars would have been 5 because their reserve Chardonnay was good enough that I bought 6 bottles. I would have ordered more to be shipped home. But, who likes being lied to and then told they weren't lied to. Again, this isn't about 20.00. It's about integrity. Thank you, Julia Spencer Update; heard from the owner. Even less impressed now. That's why 3 stars went to 1. I think it's funny that my telling her politely that I was in the middle of my work day and also in the middle of (literally) a construction site with bad cell service resulted in her deciding I was angry .... Lololol .... Whatever, lady. Sorry if you want me to be sorry that I didn't have time to listen to all of your ranting about how much everything costs you. If that's your idea of resolving an issue? I'm glad the call dropped. You clearly weren't trying to resolve anything but your own issues. Also, I do now realize that what I saw was your advertisement and not your actual website. I guess that makes a difference to you. False advertising is still lying in my realm. But again, integrity apparently has a different definition to some. Glad you decided to change your deceptive advertising. I guess we did accomplish something.

Great time with some of our friends today at Peacock Cellars.

The wines have always been pretty delightful. We have many friends that are members and really enjoy the experience. We've visited for the first time and were surprised by the extent of a vintage, eclectic buying area that included bakery items as well as unique gifts and it was really fun to Peruse. And they have a very cool country setting with tons of outdoor seating and umbrellas that are very comfortable here on the central coast. We really enjoyed a number of white but also there Pinot noir and Sangiovese. I have to say the highlight was the staff there were a couple gals working there who were just delightful to talk to and socialize with who New Wine well. We recognize them from their work for years prior at a sushi restaurant we love as well. It was great to catch up with locals working at a new location and they really were enjoying the work and making it a great experience for all of us visiting the tasting room. We run a bed-and-breakfast and I will definitely be recommending this winery more and more to our guests because now I also understand experience that they can have all tasting not just the great Wines. Just wish we had visited it sooner!

This was our first visit to this rustic tasting room, and we had a nice experience. It was a Friday, right after opening, and we had the whole place to ourselves. The service was friendly, and my wife and I shared a traditional and custom flight. We thought that the wines were decent, some better suited to our palates than others, but well-made, nonetheless. We were fortunate to meet and speak with the owner who happened to be bringing in supplies and got a little more detail on the wines, than we did from our "winerista". He also mentioned that his niece opened a winery in Los Olivos (Story of Soil), which focused on wine styles a little out of our wheelhouse, but we thought we'd give that a try as well, and it turned out to be a fantastic recommendation. Costa De Oro is a nice place with wine varietals for everyone's tastes. I recommend you stop in and give them a try when you're passing through the area.
