Awesome experience at Timbre Winery. We had their Winter Flight and liked the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. I love the vibe of this winery, low key, ample back patio seating space, friendly staff and complimentary pretzels and almonds. We definitely will be back! Special shout out to Haiden and Denise for being great hosts and sharing there knowledge about the wine making process.

Wine tasting is so much fun inside a house! We sat on a couch in front of a fireplace in a "living room" setting. The flight came in a cute display and we were given good information for each wine. The service was friendly and fast. They checked on us often to make sure we were alright and answered any questions that we had. Denise and Valerie were so great and gave us a great experience! Highly recommend "the icon" 2018 Pinot noir. The strong wine is part of the wine tasting and is the best Pinot noir I have ever had! Five stars for a great wine tasting experience!

Lovely fall day to taste through of our fall club shipment. Denise was our server and she was/is sweet as ever and very knowledgeable about the wines produced here. Josh the winemaker is producing more solid wines now and they've invested in champagne making equipment and the sparkling Chard from Riverbench vineyard is nice. We're also fans of the music/band themed names for the wines.

The Timbre tasting room is tucked into a small house on the main drag (Branch St) in Arroyo Grande. It's easy to miss if you're driving by but, you'll want to be sure you don't miss this place. We've tasted at most of the wineries/tasting rooms up and down the coast but rarely (if ever) have we been so completely blown away by the quality of the wine on the entire tasting menu. Timbre seems to focus on Pinot Noirs but they do offer tasting selections of several other varietals including ( when we visited) a Riesling, a couple Chardonnays, and a Cab Sauv. The Pinot Noirs are the stars here and they really do shine. With grapes sourced from well known warmer climate vineyards such as Bien Nacido ,Prequile & Riverbench, they are making pretty big, new world style wines which are a great complement to the abundance of cooler climate Pinots we get from Sta Rita Hills producers. But back to Timbre, they've got a great tasting patio in the back of the place where your removed from the bustle of the busy street and there a great team of very knowledgeable staff to guide you through their lineup. We were lucky enough to get Denise, ( as well as two other great ladies) who knew absolutely everything about the wines and the vineyards and led us through the unique naming structure they use for their wines there( kinda music based not surprisingly ). Any way you hear it Timbre is in perfect tune and hitting all the right notes in the crowded and talented Central coast wine scene. Check them out for sure!!!

Timbre was an unexpected find one wine tasting day. And a wonderful find it was! We were exploring new wineries in and around Arroyo Grande and came across Timbre. It was very near our hotel and happened to stay open later than a lot of the other wineries. We opted to close out the night here. It was a long day wine tasting, and the sun and wine took its toll on me. We nearly thought about canceling our reservations and heading straight to the hotel. But with a few snacks and plenty of water, I was good to go. And so glad I did! Timbre was not only the cutest little setting on the most adorable street in AG, but the staff and wines were wonderful! The boyfriend struck up a conversation with our pourer, also an educator, and we had a simply marvelous end to the day. The wines were so pleasant we oped to become wine club members. I've since returned with my sisters to taste and they too enjoyed it! Upon our second trip we sat on the porch and enjoyed people watching as the sun set. It was quite pleasant. Several wine shipments have arrived since we signed up and every single one has exceeded our expectations, with many drinkable now. If you're a fan of beautiful Pinot Noirs, definitely stop here. Make sure to put Timbre at the top of your wineries to-try list!

Service is special here. We didn't get a chance to sit inside because there was an inviting outdoor patio and we wanted to enjoy some nice sunshine. Upon seating and after ordering our tastings, we were offered complimentary almonds or popcorn. It was really busy but service was still attentive. It's also dog-friendly in the outdoor space so bring your furry friends here. Timbre is located to so many nice restaurants in the Arroyo Grande Village that if you were to start your a day out here to enjoy a tasting before going out to dinner, then that would be an idealistic date. They usually close at 5pm or 6pm so start the outing early.

Bethany was very helpful. Wine was wonderful. Ended up going home with two bottles and bought two of their wine glasses. Great ambiance, wonderful way to start off our 10 year wedding anniversary. Would Highly recommend this place. Will come again.

Loved the atmosphere here, chill, and pretty!! The wine was so good!! And definitely will come back!!

Such a cute winery! Loved the atmosphere, wine was pretty good, and loved how the tasting is brought to you so you can drink at your pace and enjoy the chocolate almonds they bring out so you can pair with your wine!! Definitely coming back!!

I have to start this review with the staff and owner. Fantastic, so warm and welcoming from your very first visit. We are members of the Timbre Wine club and really enjoy both the delicious wines and the events. We choose Timbre to give a 20th anniversary party to my son and his wife. The price to rent the space after hours was very reasonable and the best part was that you get the staff to take care replenishing food trays and making sure everyone had their glasses refilled with tastes of the different wines we choose for the event. Denise took her time with the guests so they could have any questions answered about the wine they were tasting. We met with Denise, Timbre's manager, several times to arrange what we wanted for the event and she was so on top of everything and communicated with me both by email and over the phone with last minute details. We had Timbre put together two large charcuterie boards to start things off and they did a beautiful job! I ordered food from Palo Mesa that was delicious (more on that in a separate review on Palo Mesa) and Denise made sure that we had everything we needed from Palo Mesa to keep food warm and had it picked up and ready when the food arrived. I make truffles and Denise was kind enough to do a tasting with her staff and expertly paired each truffle flavor with the selected wines! They have a nice speaker system to play your selected playlist from your device and it was so nice to play in the background. We delivered decorations to Denise the day before and she had them all put out for the event (although the back patio is beautiful on it's own and you really don't need additional decorations). Their wines are just wonderful and there is a wide variety to satisfy different tastes. I was also impressed that the owner, Chiasa (spelling I hope is right), was there to also help out at the event. Our guests really enjoyed talking with both Denise and Chiasa and the rest of the staff. If you are looking for a warm, intimate, and well organized place to hold your event I highly recommend Timbre Winery in Arroyo Grande, CA.

Bubbly Rose and wine by the glass menu.

Great spot to taste their wines. Right in the heart of Arroyo Grande village. Cute and quiet place to sit out back on the patio. Plenty of distancing during covid. Denise was a knowledgeable and gracious host explaining everything you need to know about the wines. Pinots are very good and the grapes are sourced from local vineyards. They also have a nice 11 year old cabernet made from Napa grapes. For a treat, try their bubbly rose!

It's a nice atmosphere and great service but that's it. The price points are so out of balance with the quality of the wine.

A coworker had recommended this winery and I'm grateful he did. We had an amazing time there. There were seven of us and we did a walk-in. I didn't think we needed a reservation because it was during the week(Tuesday 7/14), but when we got there it was a bit busy. Apparently there was another 7 person reservation at 4pm, which wasn't us. When we entered, I began speaking with Laura. She asked if we were the 4pm reservation and I told her no, we're a walk-in. Laura didn't flinch and said "No problem". Laura made us feel welcome and conducted our wine tasting. She was amazing and very knowledgeable. She had great energetic spirit along with some fun banter. Laura nicked named our group, the "Kevin Sparkles" group. We had fun with that name all 3 days we were up there.
