As a student, I feel really disappointed with this school. There are so many problems, and it's hard to feel happy or comfortable here. One of the biggest issues is the lack of diversity. There aren't many people here who look like me, and I feel left out because of that. There aren't any activities that celebrate different cultures, and it makes me feel like I don't belong. Another problem is how often teachers leave. Every year it feels like a bunch of teachers quit, and we get new ones all the time. It's hard to learn when we don't have the same teacher for a long time. Some of them don't even understand us, and it feels like we're always starting over. When I asked about it, the answers I got didn't make sense, and nothing changed. Bullying is also a big problem. I've been bullied a lot here, and when I told the teachers or principals, they didn't do much about it. It just kept happening, and I started feeling more anxious and sad. To make things worse, I've heard other kids talking about doing drugs at school. It's really upsetting, and I feel like the school doesn't care enough to fix any of this. The worst part is how the school doesn't keep me or my parents updated about my progress. I've tried reaching out, but no one responds. When they do, it's not helpful. This whole experience has made me really unhappy, and I don't want to come back next year. read more

My daughter attended RCPS at the beginning of this year for Kindergerten. We had some concerns as the school year progressed. We switched our daughter to Peachtree Academy Conyers Campus mid year. We expected there to be some hiccups as change can be tough on kids. NOT ONE! My daughter comes home excited about school and now is talking about her teachers and what she is learning. She is thriving socially, coming home with stories of her friends and their favorite times together. Of all of our hopes, the one that I can honestly say has made the BIGGEST difference for us is that we have become a member of the Peachtree family. We appreciate each member of the staff and the parents who have gone out of their way to include us and to make us feel not only welcome, but loved. I am so impressed with the active participation of the students, the educators and the administrators. Quality education and memorable experiences are two of the immediate trademarks I observed in my interactions with Peachtree Academy. My only disappointment is the disbelief that such a school exist and I never knew about them. I have been a teacher at Peachtree Academy for many years and my own children have attended here. My older child graduated and has done very well in school and work. My younger child graduates this year. We have been very happy with the teachers and education. The teachers are very approachable and willing to put in the extra time for your child to grasp the material. I also feel very safe and never been concerned for my children's safety. I transferred over to Peachtree this year as the Third Grade Teacher! I absolutely love this school and the people I work with. I have a child that attends here and I see a huge difference in her education for the better. The teachers here are absolutely wonderful, and go the extra mile for their students. We moved our son to Peachtree Academy in the 3rd grade and we were so please we brought our daughter for her high school career. Peachtree has embraced us as family and we have seen both our children grow academically, and spiritually. The love of all the students is evident in the staff, teachers, and administration.
