My niece worked for years and fought through so much to get to that moment, and her principal couldn't be bothered to stick around. Her teacher said some really sweet things about her, and the teachers talked about each student before they got their diploma which was very nice. The students also gave some really touching speeches. It seemed like they formed meaningful relationships. There were a couple teachers my niece wouldn't stop talking about during dinner afterwards and before Fusion I never got more than one sentence out of her if I asked how school was going. It seems like she really got a lot of help she needed, but the disrespect I saw from the administration (In the single day I visited the school....) was alarming.

The staff education level is very high, replete with advanced degrees, so the children are taught from a position of expertise. We have two elementary school boys there and the academic program is very challenging. They are taught advanced leadership skills like public speaking, dictation, and presence from at least the third grade, so we have been quite impressed. I am convinced that Killian Hill Christian School is an institution dedicated to excellence that will be producing leaders for years to come. Whether your child is a new student or returning student/family respect goes a long way. Instead of coming into the school yelling and screaming at the staff take time to have a conversation with your child, teacher/teachers, the principal and possibly a mediator. This will help with the transition of getting settled into new surroundings. We should be operating as a common ground. Lets come together as a community and move mountains together. Let's get a hold and ahead of situations. Once we accomplish that we can accomplish anything. With a little work great things can be accomplished.
