It's great what they're doing. Needs updating, however. I played to these whenbI was a child.

Have to give a special shoutout to Alyssa because she always shows up with the best energy and enthusiasm for the day, and is also extremely encouraging for both my child and my husband and I. I love that she takes the time out of every visit to break things down for us in simple, easy to understand terms and shows us exactly what we should be working on at home as well. Even with all of the different patients and toys (which means exposure to a lot of germs), I always feel like the space and toys are kept super clean and I love that they make time between each patient's visit to wipe down and clean all surfaces and toys that were touched. I am excited to continue here!

** review for feeding and speech therapy**…read more When my three week old baby girl was referred to feeding therapy after two weeks of me knowing something was wrong and fearing bottle aversion Building Bridges wasted no time in getting us in the same week. Debbie at the front desk was so sweet on the phone when getting me set up and is always so friendly whenever we need help. We were paired with Jorri and she's incredible. When I say she saved me that's an understatement. I have postpartum anxiety and my baby struggling to eat was really triggering and Jorri was SO understanding and so helpful, literally answering my texts at all hours when I needed help outside of a session. Jorri brought in their in house craniosacral therapist who helped her confirm her suspected diagnosis of a posterior tongue tie. She and Stacy worked together and gave me the tools we needed to help my sweet girl eat comfortably. Jorri has continued to support me through all her stages and when she starts struggling to drink. Due to COVID I had a strong inclination that my sone would need speech therapy at two. When my son was referred for speech therapy, Building Bridges was my instant choice. Jorri is now working weekly with my son and he has come leaps and bounds. We have been with her a few months and I get comments from strangers on how great my son speaks! I could not be more proud or more grateful. I am hoping my daughter will pick up skills from my son as she learns to speak, but if she also needs speech therapy we will be headed right back to Building Bridges. If you are referred for therapy I highly recommend Building Bridges! I see how each of their therapist greet their patients and interact in the hall and they are all so sweet with the kids, while Jorri is my favorite I would trust any one of them with my babies.

nowNEW The owner…read morehere is very rude and hangs up on parents when she is unable to account for her staffs lack of policy awareness. She called and assumed without speaking to her staff of an incident with my child. Instead of taking accountability of a lack of training. Please notate who you speak with for any concerns. I will list here why you should pick somewhere else to go. 1. If your child has SN and needs OT and has sensory issues pls find a place that has therapists that are certified in sensory integration. For 2 years i requested help with this and all they could do is give me sheets of paper from the internet eventhough they kept saying they knew how to work with OT of which they didnt. I took my kid to another OT specialty office that was certified and they questioned the quality of therapy my child was getting due to this. 2. Their secretary when she first started called babies cant wait to get my speech cancelled after we had a friendly convo about aba and she told me she was vehemently against it..when i called babies cant wait the coordinator confirmed a helping hands rep called them to advise this and apologized thaf she had no reason to go out of her way to do that. My speech thankfully was never cancelled. My baby was newly diagnosed and i had no idea at that time aba was such a heated issue. 3. Lack of transparency. The owner calls and yells at me not recognizing her staff fave the wrong info or made a wrong decision about a question my husband asked Instead of calling to ask.i was berated after two years of goijg to this place told i wasnt an involved parent. If you just need an in and out place go here. But if you want a therapist that really understands sensory issues and is able to work on that instead of just felling you to get a vest and or trampoline go to a place where therapists are certified in sensory integration. I wasted 2 years going here thinking they need what they were doing. If you need to find out who is go on the website online to confirm any therapist has certification. Again always get a name and be transparent. Cos their staff isnt even aware of their own policies and will blame you. And the owner is not aware or accountable to her staff not knowing policy and will blame you for it.

One time she got sick unexpectedly and we found out when we showed up and it was a no go. He looked forward to Ms. Tracy as part of his weekly routine. Unfortunately we changed insurance and I dropped the ball not thinking of his speech therapy but all the other doctors‍ he's not there at the moment so I work with him at home. We tried other therapists in the past but they don't make him work like Ms Tracy so it's a waste of time bc his visits were only 30 min. She's excellent at what she does.

I called several places and inquired about their services and scheduling. I selected Holistic Occupational Therapy not just because they were near but because they asked for my number to have a therapist call me to answer my questions. They wanted to make sure that they could provide the services I needed and explained the services I inquired about. When I went in for the appointment the therapist did a thorough exam, asked questions, recorded my expectations, and explained the plan of care and the time and expectations. She then sent the information to my doctor for agreement and approval. BTW, my surgeon was very impressed. I never felt rushed and all my questions were answered. I have had various physical therapies before but I was most impressed by the online program that she provided. As I did my exercises at home I was able to let her know my pain level and the number of repetitions with each exercise. Therefore, in my next session, she would be able to measure my success from home and at the clinic. It made me feel more in control of my success! The office is a clean, organized, and calm atmosphere. Thank you to Tori and the staff! I give this office an A+++!

I'm anxious. My baby is anxious. This is all new and unknown to us. Her pediatrician referred us to…read morethis facility several months ago because of her delayed speech, walking and difficulty with transitioning. The uncertainty of being faced with these challenges was more than I could bare. I admit I was having a very difficult time accepting the journey that stood in front of me. I can't put into words how each person at walker therapy made us feel like we were going to be okay and they were actually there to help us navigate each challenge we faced. Although my daughter protested and cried every time we met with them, and I couldn't help but feel defeated, the therapists pressed on with positivity, kindness and patience. Three months later, I have seen my baby girl thrive and gain so much from her sessions. She can now walk, no, RUN! Her tolerance for new things and transitioning has really improved and she is slowly making progress in her social skills that at one point I thought would be impossible. I am so happy and proud of my baby. I am so infinitely grateful to all her therapists. Even the receptionists speak to us with so much compassion and kindness. Thanks to walker therapy I have gained the confidence and hope for the future with my daughter that in the beginning seemed unattainable. Although we're still learning and there are still some difficult days, I am glad I have the help and support from this amazing team! They're God sent. It's my wish that every parent struggling with finding the right care for their child, could find a place like this one. Thank you Walker Therapy and a HUGE thank you to Jessie, Abby and Kelsey! I'd be lost without your help.
