I tried scheduling an appointment last Thursday, but there no openings from Friday to Sunday. I had a feeling this place was a go-to because they were busy. Because of that, I knew I still wanted to give this place a try so I agreed to be on the call list in case a client cancelled last minute. I received a call the next day saying Joyce (the owner) opened up her schedule on Monday (they're usually closed on Mondays). I had my first eyebrow threading appointment today. It was a great experience. I loved the ambiance of the shop! It was quite homey in there and nicely decorated. Because I was a new client, I had to come in 15 minutes before my appointment to fill out some paperwork. Nothing outrageous or anything. They really care about the safety of all their clients, ensuring no cross contamination or possible allergic reactions to products they use. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded in a variety of places, but I can honestly say I had the best experience with Joyce. Before starting, we took a look at my eyebrows together. She educated me about how eyebrows should be shaped in relation to our face and nose. She told me what areas she would be threading and recommended areas to be left alone. Throughout the threading session, she really took her time, ensuring perfection. You can really tell that she cares about her clients. She's personable and I enjoyed conversing with her during my time in the chair. I loved how my eyebrows looked after she was done! I will definitely come back for maintenance. Maybe even try one of the other services they offer.

The only down fall of this apt was the "spa", itself! It was very noisy and in my experience in having over 200 massages in doctor office settings and "spa," settings, they should have taken the time to maintain a quiet and calm environment. Though the room was dark and had calming music, I could hear people entering in and out of the main door between the spa and doctors office and conversations that were taking place. Very noisy...not relaxing at all! Although I received a good massage it lacked the "spa" title! Not worth the price.
