I loved all of the fabrics they had to choose from, including various jelly rolls and other precuts, and they had some great patterns (and even quilt kits!) available for purchase. They also had a huge selection of Valdani thread, which I would love to order from them in the future! I was also happily surprised to see the selection of felt they had in store in addition to project patterns for the felt. The pricing was great, and the system for pricing fabric cuts was super simple to follow. No guessing necessary! They also had a wonderful assortment of notions, just in case you brought a sewing project to work on while on vacation but forgot a suppliy or two. Definitely stop in regardless if you're a quilter or some other form of sewist/stitcher- this shop is one you won't want to miss!

We thought it was going to rain today in OBX, so we planned for a no beach, indoor activities kinda…read moreday. This place was a great afternoon break for our kiddos. You pick your shirt (i.e. t-shirt, tank, love sleeve, dress, onesie, etc.), put on some gloves, a smock and get to "dyin." The store sends you home with washing and care instructions. IMO, it is on the pricey side, but overall, our group had a good time and the girl there was friendly and helpful. Notes: Douse that fabric with the colors you want because we thought we soaked it, but all the adults still had lots of white shirt areas after we washed it. Sizes of the clothes run on the smaller side. I got an 18M onesie for my 10M son and it fit him perfectly (it was Gerber's brand). Hubs got a Large (Gildan brand) and doesn't love tight-fitting clothes, so he would've gotten an XL had he known. They don't have pastel colors. They have 3 patterns (only) of tie-dye pattern to choose from. This activity was under an hour for us (with kiddos), so it didn't "kill" a lot of time, but I imagine it might take more time if there was a group you are waiting on or taking your time tie-dying. You Can bring your own shirts/dresses/whatever, but dying it will cost $10 (more if it's a sweater or thicker fabric). You Can opt to buy a pre-tie-dyed merch, but that really takes the "fun" out of it.

Wide variety of quality baby items! They offer used and new clothing, toys, all baby needs & more!…read moreI love it because I prefer my baby's items to be new while I'm ok with some used items(example gently used clothing). The two ladies working were very pleasant and helpful with holding my items at the front since I was holding my son while shopping. I could spend hours looking through everything! I feel that the prices vary - they do have name brand items that are pricer (reasonably so) but also offer things for cheap (example - used bibs for 25 cents). They have my favorite swaddle blankets! They also offer rental items (strollers, baby bouncers, high chairs). Maternity clothes are also available. There was no restroom at the store - but they do have a key for a restroom for the plaza. One of my favorite baby stores I've been to!

I don't buy baby items often, however, they seemed to offer a decent variety at fair prices. I would return when back in the area and recommend this shop to others!
