I used to shop here when I lived in the area. I recently found I am in need of good quality fabric…read moreand plan to take a trip over there. Their goods are wonderful and the service has always been great. They let you look around and are always ready to help when you are ready. I can't say enough good things about this shop. Can't wait to get over there.

I had high expectations for this place. Here's a little background: my boyfriend and I are both…read moreservice members and are moving soon. I want to get my couch set upholstered, i've never done that before but I have a general gist of an idea how. I wanted to go to a nice fabric store and pick something out. I was prepared to spend some serious cash too. I wanted some quality. Walk in, no one greets you. There was a woman who kinda poked her head out and saw us, didn't say anything. So we walk in, are looking around and finally she asks if she can help. I say actually yes, i'm looking for (insert the design, pattern, color, etc). She immediately says to me, without moving to help or anything, that what I want is going to be expensive. Then she stands there are stares at me. I'm like ok...still would like to see some fabrics IF YOU DON'T MIND TOO MUCH. So she starts pulling books and being pretty helpful, so I shake off that first comment. I start to see a lot of things that I like and i'm getting excited. She pulls more and more and I feel like we're making progress. She's asking where we're moving too, do I have the dimensions of the couch, I say no I don't right now but i'll come back later with them. Then I start taking pictures of the fabrics I like to remember them. As I said before, I've never gone fabric shopping before, I'm completely new at this. I then start to take a picture of the name of the fabric because that makes sense to me. She says to me are you taking a picture of the name? Because I don't allow that. I immediately stop, I apologize and put it down. She's standing across the table and staring me down again. She asks if i've done that for any other fabrics. I assure her i have not. She keeps staring at me like i'm lying to her. I've never been mortified in a shop in my life. I was treated like a child, and like I thief, both of which I am not. She then starts to lecture me about taking pictures of the names and how I can look them up online and get them cheaper and that doesn't work her and I expressedly tell her, you can feel free to look through my phone I did not take any pictures with names in them. I should've gotten up and walked right now at that moment, but unlike her, I did not want to be rude. She could've offered when I first started taking pictures of the fabric (not the name) that oh, its our policy not to allow photographs of the names of the fabric. Easy, simple, professional. Not rude, accusing, and condescending. I was talked down to, condescended to, and treated like a child and a thief. I will NOT be coming back to this place. And I would only suggest going in there if you want an undesirable experience of condescending attitudes. Maybe its because my boyfriend was in uniform, we both look young, and I'm mexican, or a combination of any of those things, but the fact is I am employed and can afford her fabrics, but I will now choose to take my business elsewhere. Good riddance.
