I LOVE PLW but their stuff is somewhat ridiculously overpriced. $168 for a hoodie? $98 for a long sleeved top, $58 for a plain cotton tee with some cute sayings on it? They should print on their shopping bags: "I am now poor". Therefore, the only place I shop their stuff is at their outlet store. Which used to be the most un-shopper-friendly outlet there was, with no AC and a closet space as changing room, to make it very clear how they spite cheapskates like me. But now they have added several AC unit, painted the walls white, and added two real dressing rooms. Hurray!! Don't have to wait for a cold front to make a shopping trip! Prices nonetheless is still OUCH! You have to be patient to bargain hunt but I've scored some very nice items. I am happy. Sure, money can buy happiness. read more

Full disclosure: I ONLY come here during the Warehouse Sale in December to buy presents. I always get there really early and am usually the third or fifth person in line. I've been coming to the Warehouse Sale for about four years now. The first year I came I found a lot of great things at affordable prices but since then I don't think the sale has been that great. Every year it seems to disappoint me more and more and the savings aren't really there. Either there aren't that many items or the collection just doesn't appeal to me. The first year that I went they had those "I am Happiness" or "I am Joy" sweaters which were so comfy but the sweaters now are weird sizes and aren't as cute or comfy. I was surprised to see that this year there was hardly a line by 8 when usually there's already a good dozen or more in line. Perhaps this is a sign everyone else is thinking the same thing? That is speculation of course but I'm not sure I'll be coming next year. They didn't have any flip flops on sale and most of the prices have risen. There was a gym bag I got a two years ago for $20 that was now $40. They claim its regularly $140 but I'm not sure the quality of that bag has gotten any better to warrant the $20 increase for the sale. As I mentioned I only come during the sale but it's not even that good anymore. Clearly, I'm not paying regular price for this brand and since the Warehouse Sale only has 40-50% off now, I'm not sure it's a brand I'll continue buying. I even checked online for prices & the same hats they had at the Warehouse Sale for $15 they had online for $13.50. Maybe I saved on shipping but that proves to me the Warehouse Sale isn't what it used to be read more

A friend of mine has worked for this company for years, I always thought that it was a church, until one time it came up in conversation and she mentioned clothing, the name had me fooled. Haha PLW has really cute "lounge-y" looking items. The sizing for things are a bit off, I am usually a L and L fit too snug.... I did have a big lunch, maybe that was part of the problem. Haha. I have to say that I LOVE peace love world and the outlet does have great sales every now and then. However, the customer service IS THE WORST EVER!!!!!! The girl that manages the store (tan, curly hair, highlights, always at the register) is a total *****. She always has a dog face, terrible attitude and she just really isn't cut out to work for them. Today was my first time going to this warehouse. I went with two other friends, we found a ton of damaged goods, the back of the toddler shirts had stains and marks from messed up printing I guess. Eventually I found some really cute stuff, and the people that were walking around were very helpful. Once we got to the register there was two girls, one of them named "Irene"...They were INCREDIBLY nasty to us for no reason! If you hate your job so much, then leave! Really, she seemed so pissed off that it really bothered us. I put a couple things back because why should I buy from a lady like that? Anyways, I wouldn't suggest going to their warehouse sales, most of it is damaged goods in some way. read more

We went to the sale yesterday and was pretty happy with my purchases. Everything I bought was $5, $10, or $15 depending on the item. The place was packed, but when we needed help, it was usually available. I give the place 3 stars because although it was a sale, I can't imagine paying full price (regular price for a tee shirt is around $45!!!) for some of the items that are made out of cotton! read more

Horrible material.... Expensive! Rather go to the mall and have a real shopping spree! Shirts will fade in less then 3 months... And try on your clothes! Apparently they have no sense of sizing ... All shirts are different size. Not all smalls are the same... Nor the mediums or large. I would never waste a penny on this brand again. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TOXIC LUGGAGE? I will never purchase anything from PLW even though they have items I would have purchased. I wanted to purchase luggage and apparently, there is a law which prevents PLW from shipping luggage to California. Although no one at PLW could specifically inform me as to what the law is, After SEVERAL phone calls (and a voice mail that I left that was never returned), I spoke with a Manager, Odette. According to Odette, the reason they cannot ship luggage to California has to do with the fact that the luggage contains "certain products" that caused the luggage to FAIL testing standards. Odette could not verify what these "certain products" are. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more
