Initially opened as a clearance area for the original Nordstrom in Seattle in 1973, it then opened as a standalone store in 1983. My wife and I have been to quite a few, and found it to be a good place to buy department store quality (i.e. not clothes specifically made for an outlet) for reduced prices. This location had the one thing we look for: a large clearance area for both women and men, and this store fit that bill well. It has free wi-fi, which was appreciated. It didn't seem too busy while browsing throughout the store, but then realized how high the throughput was when having to wait in a very long line. They had all registers going, and the line moved surprisingly quickly. We were just window shopping, but I ended up buying some Nike briefs that were double clearanced, making it well over 50% off.

Her attitude was rude, unprofessional, and completely uninterested in resolving the issue. I even left the defective product at the store, hoping they could inspect it or provide some kind of assistance. Still, the manager did not care about keeping the money for a product that clearly didn't work. Not only does she lack basic customer service skills, but she also demonstrated a concerning lack of professional ethics. This experience seriously affects my trust in Burlington and its customer service.

I did well here, buying a pair of casual dress shoes, 2 dress shirts, a pair of jeans and 2 t-shirts - all for about $110. The only minor complaint is that they only had 2 cashiers working on this day so the checkout line moved relatively slowly. When I first got in line they had 3 cashiers, until one walked away to fold items that had been returned - while talking on her cell phone the entire time and working very slowly. I'll check out this Burlington location in the future because, while it may be a bit smaller than their store at nearby Dolphin Mall, on this day at least, they seemed to have a better selection of items in stock.
