This was my first time encountering someone who literally tried to compare me and my spouse to being a business owner and an employer, like himself and putting myself in his situation because he was trying to punish an employee in front of us for telling us lies that we could not get a discount basically he is unprofessional his demeanor gives off aggressive. It was to the point that I felt uncomfortable. I literally told that man it's the holidays cheer up be nicer to your employees and guest he continued to taunt me and the whole situation was unprofessional and weird half he gave me the 10% discount on the shoe because it was a display and he told the staff member in front of I'm gonna deal with you later. I brought the receipt expecting a simple exchange and instead was met with a young man with an Afro and a middle aged woman with black hair that told me they couldn't help because it did not have the cardboard backing with the barcode on it. They refused, saying no one would buy it and it was their management that told them this rule and refused to help. I could have gone to any big box store and would have received better service and care. Unfortunately, I will never come back here again even though I was looking to get a bike fitting and considering their services even though it's $250. I'm looking somewhere else!

Which absolutely sucks…read morebecause I have been to their other location in doral, multiple times, where the customer service is great, everyone's friendly but at this gables location? They all, including the bike mechanic, need some training. I brought my bike in last week because it had a flat. First they said the service for both wheels & 2 tubes wouldn't be more than $120 - the service ended up being $200. The price is fine but why say $120 and then charge $200? I haven't had my bike for more than 2 years, I've never fallen on my bike, I take care of it like it's my child & on top of that, I barely ride it - when I picked up my bike the mechanic said "did you ever notice this dent on the rim?" No, I never noticed it because it wasn't there. THEY dented my rim - probably in the process of removing my tire. Now that's something else I need to fix. 2 days after picking up my bike - it's flat again (didn't even ride it btw). These people didn't properly put the tube. I called them to let them know that I'll be passing by so they can fix it - whoever answered the phone was extremely rude with an attitude. I ended up going to the doral location and it was fixed within 5 mins. But because of the horrible customer service from their gables location, I'll just be taking my bike elsewhere. Too many bike shops in Miami to be dealing with an incompetent one.

The paddle felt off right out of the packaging, and we simply requested an even exchange. The store manager, Angela or Angelica, was unhelpful and dismissive throughout the interaction. They brought out a replacement paddle from the back that had clearly been opened, dirty and the face of the paddle had clear signs of use. The handle wrap was missing and dirty. We asked for another, pointing out that this one had no original packaging either. When doing the exchange she told us that without the original wrapping, our paddle couldn't be resold and therefore couldn't be exchanged. When we mentioned that they were just about to give us a paddle in the same unwrapped condition, she had no response. We also pulled up the official return policy, which states: "For other items, we may accept returns for items that are clean and in good condition, even if they have been opened, tried on, or tested." There is no mention that pickleball paddles are excluded or that original packaging is required for these items. Despite calmly explaining our position, she told us, "Being difficult is not going to get you anywhere," even though we repeatedly made it clear that we weren't trying to be difficult we were just asking for fairness. She finally agreed to the exchange, but not without saying, "I'm going to do this one time, but don't do it again," in a tone that felt more like we were children being reprimanded than paying customers. Overall, this was an unprofessional and frustrating experience. We expected consistency with store policy and basic respect neither of which we received.

When he called me to let me know the bikes were ready he said one bike was $75 and the other was $30. However, when I went to pick them up I was charged an additional service and wash $40 for one of the bicycles that wasn't mentioned ahead of time. The employee had even told me ahead of time that if it was more than $100 to just get a new bike. I would have preferred they were more transparent with the cost, as I asked several times. I thought the first employee was extremely nice and helpful, I wish I could recommend the place but I'm feeling a little off put by hidden costs.

Great selection of merchandise. I purchased a used stationary Smart bike I found on the internet. The seller left it at the shop for me to pick up. From the first conversation with the owner, on the phone, she was very willing to help and come up with solutions and ideas for my situation. I visited the location because my daughter's dance photoshoot is on the weekend and I was nervous that it wouldn't arrive on through the mail on time. When I walked in I was greeted and helped. The owner was with another client but made sure to let me know if I needed anything or any help she would be right with me. She immediately remembered our convo on the phone and one she was done she was very attentive and helped find the right size for my daughter. The costume ended up being a tad bit too tight on the top and the neck piece too loose, she assured me it wasn't a problem and she could make a costume in a day and have it ready by the afternoon. Once I arrive the costume was in a bag waiting for me! Now thats customer service. My daughter tried it on and it fit like a glove and she loves it. We will definitely be back!

Initially opened as a clearance area for the original Nordstrom in Seattle in 1973, it then opened as a standalone store in 1983. My wife and I have been to quite a few, and found it to be a good place to buy department store quality (i.e. not clothes specifically made for an outlet) for reduced prices. This location had the one thing we look for: a large clearance area for both women and men, and this store fit that bill well. It has free wi-fi, which was appreciated. It didn't seem too busy while browsing throughout the store, but then realized how high the throughput was when having to wait in a very long line. They had all registers going, and the line moved surprisingly quickly. We were just window shopping, but I ended up buying some Nike briefs that were double clearanced, making it well over 50% off.
