IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET(S), PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS.
My wife and I are both military, I am stationed in Germany and she is Ohio and getting to PCS and be with me in Germany. We have a Great Dane who needs a custom crate due to his size. Our plan was to send our pup to me about a month before she left so that she did not have to stress about taking care of him while also getting everything ready to move. We started the process in January and this company looked great... on paper. They were helpful and responsive in the beginning. In order for them to start building the crate, they needed a down payment. At the end of January, they said they needed the rest of the money in order to get the plane ticket. The plan was to send him here to Germany on the 10th of March. In the first week of February, my wife emailed them with a question. After not getting a response for a couple days, she sent a few more emails and tried calling multiple times in order to get her question answered. The last week of February, they finally replied to her emails. Fast forward to the Thursday before he was supposed to leave, they sent an email to my wife saying his crate was not made. She replied asking why it wasn't built when they had three months. Again, they were not responding to any of her emails. She sent many more emails trying to get some sort of response. They didn't reply until the next day, one day before he was supposed to leave. They said their carpenter was admitted to a hospital, which is why the crate was not made; sympathy for him, but, they still had three months to get the job done. So needless to say, he did not make his flight, and we had to reschedule. When rescheduling, we asked them for a phone number that we could reach them at. They responded saying that their phones were located in a room that was under construction and they only had their texting phone number. We also requested that we be reimbursed for the vet bills considering his paperwork would no longer be valid when he was supposed to fly out on his new day of March 24. We also requested daily updates on his crate being built... which they failed at as well. They updated us for two days, they vanished, and then about a week later, they updated us with his finished crate. The week of him leaving, they once again were not replying to my wife's emails or text messages. On that Thursday, I called the airline and the hotel he was supposed to stay at the next night to verify his reservations. The airline checked out and everything was good. Then I called the hotel. They had no record of our pup staying there. Friday, they replied to my wife's many emails. They said that the airline cancelled his reservation and every other current and future animal reservation. And just like that, he wasn't flying to Germany once again. So to summarize, this company is terrible when comes to communication and doing what we paid them to do. I will never recommend PCS Pets to anyone. In fact, the only way I will talk about them is to tell people not to use PCS Pets. Because of them, our pup will get here after my wife, but we aren't using PCS Pets anymore. They have caused too much stress, headache, and heartache. If you love your pet(s), seriously do not use PCS Pets. read more
