Employee Travis greeted me and politely listened to me blabber about I thought was wrong. He was kind not to call me deranged. He thought the problem could be fixed quickly and possibly even the same day. I returned home and while hanging up my coat, Travis called to let me know all was fixed and I could pick up my lap top. I would not recommend anyone take a laptop to even be looked at here. I took a working laptop in…read morefor virus removal and got back a laptop they said was no longer working and would cost more to fix the motherboard then to buy a new one. After taking it home and charging the battery and turning it on I had a laptop with a disconnected keyboard. I had to pay Wizz to get back a non-working computer so I could take it and pay someone else to hook the keyboard back up they disconnected.

He gave me an estimate and called me later to say that he needed to install a new operating system and there would be a charge for that. He later called with still another option. The charges were less than what I expected. The computer still isn't quite right but at least it boots up and I can use it. I took it in at noon on Wednesday and could have picked it up at 9 PM that night if I had been in a hurry.

He was able to get me a quote for parts and labor, and let me know when he would have it done and that made me so happy.. I don't like to wait for orders online but he let me know he had some extra parts around that he was willing to throw into the deal.. and ultimately because I was so happy with his response time I was willing to pay him a little more. Since then I've been back to Joey and upgraded my machine with him and he even HELPED ME sell my old parts and replace them with the upgrades. He is extremely knowledgable, personable, we honestly spent more time talking and nerding out than anything. Great guy and does his thing well. I use Linux Ubuntu, not every business' cup of tea. Joey contacted me within a day of my email query and we agreed on a date very soon thereafter. I was absolutely delighted with his work. This is what he's done for me and my wife: My wife loves to hear me sing. Derek and I met about 10-12 times in the parking lot of Lowwes in secret because I wanted to surprise my wife with a CD full of love songs that I sang for her and she loved it. Derek walked me through the process: choosing a quality Karioke microphone, recording song on my phone, giving phone to him where he put all songs on a CD and sim card, showing me how to operate mic, sim card, and USB port. That is when it went the other direction. I was looking at microwaves and trying to find someone to assist. There were a wide range of microwaves. There were two guys Just sitting there doing nothing. I walked over and asked the guy about a particular microwave and he finally decided to assist. Upon assisting he finallyou helped me find a microwave that would fit above my oven range. They did not have the microwave in stock so it had to be ordered. I would say it was a great buy but certainly lack of customer service. I had better. Service at a b c warehouse but they no longer exist in the ann arbor area. I went to Best Buy for help and I got it! The greeters were great and knew just who could help me. The person (whose name starts with I) was really helpful and knowledgeable.
