We have been using Alfa Backflow for a number of years to perform the test and are very happy with their service. When you call Alfa Backflow, you will be speaking to Michelle, who is very nice and friendly. She is also very responsive in email communication. Tom, the technician who conducts the field test, is very professional. Their price is reasonable, and they are prompt in filing the test result with our Village. After our sprinkler system provider (another company, not Alfa) turned on the sprinklers in the spring, we noticed that there was water dripping from the RPZ valve. They suggested that we should replace the entire valve, which would cost $600 - $800. However, after Tom had inspected the valve, he said the leak could be fixed just by replacing a washer. It did work, and the washer only cost $10. Alfa Backflow truly deserves a 5-star service award!

Instead of giving an onsite estimate, the company rep said someone from the company would call me to give the estimate. After a few says, no one from the company called me. So I called the company and was given the estimate. I proceeded to set the date for the repairs. Th company rep asked if I wanted morning or afternoon appointment. I selected the afternoon appointment due to my work schedule. When the scheduled date arrived, the plumber called me at about 7:50 am stating that he was already outside my home to do the repairs. I informed the plumber that I was at work and reminded him that I had an afternoon appointment. The plumber said that he would return in the afternoon and asked what time I could be home. I said how about 2:00 pm? The plumber said okay and that he would return at 2:00 pm. The plumber never showed up. I called the company office and was told they would called the plumber to find out what was going on. The company called me back about 30 minutes later stating that they could not replace the valve because they don't do these types of repairs in the afternoon. The same person who initially asked if I wanted morning or afternoon appointment was the same person now telling me they don't do this type of repair in the afternoon. In addition, the plumber never stated that when he told me that he would return at 2:00 pm. Finally, the same person now telling me this was the same person who said she would call the plumber to find out what was going on. Will never recommend this company to family, friends, or fellow investors!!

I called Anderson Plumbing, after normal business hours and told them my problem. I had to unplug the sump pump and storms were predicted for last night. Believe it or not, Joe was at the house within the hour! He was prompt, professional, and respectful. Since my husband's stroke, he cannot climb stairs so Joe actually took a picture of how he fixed it to show him. I thought that was way above the normal service! I still cannot get over the owner's call to say that since bad weather was predicted he knew it was important to get it fixed. Great company to do business with! Give Joe a raise!!

Another issue we had was our boiler was not generating hot water and we needed those 2 things fixed asap. With that said let's get to work... My husband explained all of the troubleshooting steps he took to attempt to fix the boiler he said we needed a part that was broken/no good in order to work and to keep the flame on, job number 2, he fixed the drain problem, not to mention that when I was looking for him I noticed he was across the street chatting with my neighbors while I am getting charged by the hour/minute. I was beyond frustrated. He comes back I find him under my sink performing unauthorized work which I was able to confirm with my husband this was not authorized. Some sort of leak under the sink. Anyhow 2.25 hours 260.00 is unacceptable, When we feel like nothing was done and we ended up with cold water still. Our plumber have returned from his vacation (thank God) so we never called this business again. Turns out we never needed this part for the boiler, the boiler was just full of dust in order to keep the flame on.
