Horrible experience!! The company rep came to my home to evaluate the problem and to give an estimate for replacing leaking valve on my bathtub. Instead of giving an onsite estimate, the company rep said someone from the company would call me to give the estimate. After a few says, no one from the company called me. So I called the company and was given the estimate. I proceeded to set the date for the repairs. Th company rep asked if I wanted morning or afternoon appointment. I selected the afternoon appointment due to my work schedule. When the scheduled date arrived, the plumber called me at about 7:50 am stating that he was already outside my home to do the repairs. I informed the plumber that I was at work and reminded him that I had an afternoon appointment. The plumber said that he would return in the afternoon and asked what time I could be home. I said how about 2:00 pm? The plumber said okay and that he would return at 2:00 pm. The plumber never showed up. I called the company office and was told they would called the plumber to find out what was going on. The company called me back about 30 minutes later stating that they could not replace the valve because they don't do these types of repairs in the afternoon. The same person who initially asked if I wanted morning or afternoon appointment was the same person now telling me they don't do this type of repair in the afternoon. In addition, the plumber never stated that when he told me that he would return at 2:00 pm. Finally, the same person now telling me this was the same person who said she would call the plumber to find out what was going on. Will never recommend this company to family, friends, or fellow investors!! read more

The finished product installed on the cinder block wall of the shower actually looks rather nice, considering this fixture is generally placed behind a wall, out of sight with only the shower head showing. Pete contacted me in less than 24 hours from the time I opened the project in Yelp and we discussed all the issues that I found over the weekend. He gave me some troubleshooting pointers to try on my own first to see if it resolves the issue. FYI - Those pointers were spot on and my issue was resolved. For those other issues, faucet replacements, valve cartridge replacement, overflow flow repair, and hot water heater expansion tank replacement, he provided an overview of the issues, upfront cost for parts and labor. His prices were extremely competitive and his hours are flexible! The work was done so quickly and issues are now resolved. Pete is extremely professional, honest, and personable. At the very beginning of this process, Edward came out in the pouring rain and diverted standing water that was sitting on top of our septic system -- giving us a temporary solution to hold us over until repairs could take place. We have severe drainage issues in our backyard, and they were able to help us manage that in the short term while also offering guidance on long-term solutions. Wesley came out shortly after, took the time to carefully explain everything, and provided top-tier service with patience and professionalism. We told him we wanted to shop around, and he was incredibly understanding -- gave us a fair quote and told us to call if we needed anything. We ultimately chose another company for the repairs, only to have the same septic issues return a few months later. When we finally called Right Price Plumbing back, they not only fixed the problem the right way, but Kevin, the owner, was on-site during the repairs and county inspection. Another issue we had was our boiler was not generating hot water and we needed those 2 things fixed asap. With that said let's get to work... My husband explained all of the troubleshooting steps he took to attempt to fix the boiler he said we needed a part that was broken/no good in order to work and to keep the flame on, job number 2, he fixed the drain problem, not to mention that when I was looking for him I noticed he was across the street chatting with my neighbors while I am getting charged by the hour/minute. I was beyond frustrated. He comes back I find him under my sink performing unauthorized work which I was able to confirm with my husband this was not authorized. Some sort of leak under the sink. Anyhow 2.25 hours 260.00 is unacceptable, When we feel like nothing was done and we ended up with cold water still. Our plumber have returned from his vacation (thank God) so we never called this business again. Turns out we never needed this part for the boiler, the boiler was just full of dust in order to keep the flame on. 'common sense' Unfortunately I do not recommend, I feel like people now days rather get money than work and get it done. Sad but true.

Recently contacted this service to have a shower door installed in our home. This was a brand new…read moreshower so all that needed to happen was the install of the shower we bought. Full disclosure in that the door we got was a bit to large for the shower and in the space we have it would have opened just about 1/2 way before hitting the toilet .. ken did point this out . We were clear that we wanted him to still use this door and this was something we could figure out in the future for bathroom layout. It took ken 7 hours and in that time he managed to ONLY get the frame of the door on. Red flags immediately were him asking for masking tape, shop vac and lastly CRAZY GLUE ... several hours into the project it was very clear he was struggling with this job. The banging, dropping of pieces and literal hammering (nothing in this job should have been hammered) went on and on. He ended up calling us down to say our door was cheap junk. He tried to crazy glue the pivot pin to keep it in place. He ended up breaking pieces of glass off the bottom of the door (found shards all over the bathroom floor), put big scratch on our regular wood bathroom door, scratched a brand new shower head. Told us we should return the shower door. How is this going to happen when he's cut the frame, put caulk on pieces (I found caulk all over and even on a chair outside the shower area), broken the glass on the bottom edge from likely repeated dropping of the door?! He came up from the basement wet from apparently turning the shower on himself. I can't even imagine how he did that. He had to be told no less than 5 times by my husband that he was "done here" as he kept saying he wanted to come back and "finish" the job. I wouldn't let him come into My house again for any level of job!!! Be very very careful about what you are hiring him for!!!

MKC did a large project for me, plumbing a new addition to the house. The level of professionalism all employees had was impressive. Always on time, always clean. Even when the inspectors were coming in for inspections, and they saw the MKC Plumbing van in front of the house, they were saying " This is going to be a easy inspection, these guys always know what they're doing".
