Dr. Nico and the staff were so kind, patient and informative about my procedure. Dr. Nico has the best bed side manners. And the bonus is the view of the ocean definitely calmed my nerves. Had a little issue with my pharmacy when trying to get my prescriptions. I called the office after hours around 8:32pm and their operating service answered and delivered the message to Dr. Nico. And he called me faster than a speeding bullet. Which definitely made me feel appreciated as a patient. My minor dilemma with the pharmacy got resolved immediately. During my departure they gave me a get well kit which included a lunch bag , two strawberry Haagen-Dazs ice cream, a jaw ice pack and most importantly instructions on how to properly take care of your oral hygiene. They guided me through every step of what they were doing and even let me pick what music we could listen to during the surgery (I was passed out but still- super nice to wake up to it). Once I woke up again they gave this very handy face wrap to ice my cheeks/jaw. Before I even went into surgery and had my consultation they played a video for me that easily explained what the procedure is like and what to expect. They made sure all my questions were answered before making a decision to doing the surgery with them. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have this procedure done.
