Here is my opinion: They care mostly about money, do horrible work (Dr. Mars). They still owe me a refund for overpayment from December (4 months ago). Excuse after Excuse. It seemed like a conveyor belt operation.....always in a hurry to get through the visits. My front tooth hurts every time I take a bite. Dr. Mars thinks it is a job well done. (what a joke). I just paid over $2,000 for a "needed" gun work and crown. I will now have to pay someone else to fix what he did to me. Very sad that he doesn't understand.... They worked on and have ruined my gum line and the 2 crowns they did do not fit correctly. (pain every time I bite). I went to another Periodontist (excellent, kind, took his time) that looked at the work and just shook his head. Could not believe what Dr. Mars said. I'm going to find a new dentist and hope they can fix the horrible remnants of what was done by Dr. Mars. Hope he spends my money to get some further training. He has such an ego and must care so much about money that it feels like he just makes up excuses for the problems he has caused me. The staff is mostly nice.....but, unresponsive to me. I sent 5+ emails over 4 months asking for the promised refund for overcharging me since they couldn't get the insurance to work as I sat in the chair for my work. I was told I had to pay the full amount - but, would get a refund as soon as I send in another copy of my insurance card. 5+ messages. Still "crickets". Not even a reply to my emails. The last time I went into the office Dr. Mars promised I would get my refund....nothing. He made excuses and blamed the insurance company and process. LOL Hope he experiences similar terrible service and zero empathy sometime. It is frustrating. And I will never forget him putting pressure on me not to share my experience with others. Dr. Mars and his practice should be banned from practicing and just as importantly should be embarrassed.

The ladies at the front desk who checked me in were friendly and helpful. When I got to see Dr. Pechter, he asked me the history of my teeth but did not judge me as the other dentists do. He carefully examined my situation and suggested different treatment options. I needed to take care of a few issues but I can't afford to do them at the same time.
