PHENOMENAL service. I worked with PS the first time back in the early 2000s and was so impressed that I took them with me to 3 other employers since. Currently they're handling payroll for my non-profit Reading Partners in Oakland. We're in several states, and have a very complex payroll with AmeriCorps members who are SUI-exempt. ADP couldn't get it right and numerous other vendors told us they had no idea how to handle that complexity. Payroll Systems' Tony Bowden sat in the demo and when we asked how that would be handled he said "I'll need to think on that one because it's a bit unusual" and about 10 minutes later he said "I've got it...we'll handle it by pay code." Done. Not a single issue since go-live, no vendor errors, no vendor-created tax amendments. With ADP we had, on average, 6 tax amendments each year, all due to ADP's system limitations. Great software, great people, accurate processing of all transactions; then top it off with phenomenal customer service. Call and guess what? You're not a "case number" or a "company code" or a "ticket number". You're a person with a name and usually the person who answers the phone knows you by voice. I am so impressed. My bookkeeper was recently out and I had to do payroll myself as well as an off schedule check. Kimberly Goodspeed, my payroll specialist, is soooo darn good. She's smart. She's fast, and she's efficient. She answers her phone almost all the time and when she doesn't she calls me back sooooo darn quickly. I'm impressed. My account rep, Casey Stratmeyer, is equally as good. Wow. I've used the big two payroll services and feel like it's the difference between a Motel 6 and the Ritz Carlton...only nicer! This is the wrost payroll place ever.. They promise a turn around time but they lie about it.. I talked to 3 different people and got three different answer about one question.. Then the floor manger told me he was the highest peraon i could talk to which is a lie.. On there fault causes me to have to wait til tuesday once there back in the office to get my refund. read more
