Very unprofessional, especially after I paid her over 10k in a few months. She freely charged my account, yet doesn't have the decency to professionally off-board an account or at the very least take herself off as primary admin so my new accountant can access the account. If she actually is a bookkeeper speaking with quickbooks would be very easy for her to take care of this. Do not trust or hire this business. If this is not rectified, I will have no other choice than to take her to court for the money she has cost me and for the work she charged me for but didn't not complete.

But sadly COVID hit & things changed to online. My husband & I have changed careers several times since 2022, & we had a baby, so there are several things to add into your taxes. This year, we spent over $15k in medical expenses, had our first child, & hoped we would get some kind of a tax refund. But unfortunately that didn't happen. When I asked about adding money to our IRAs, or why we didn't get to file itemized, or how else we can reduce our tax bracket, we were told it was a "paid question that required a paid appointment". Anyway, I think you can get your own taxes done for free or less than you're charged by this guy. He can't help you with basic questions without requiring money so... stay aware & ask questions!

Details: I've discovered the hard way that learning and retaining skills on how-to-use Quickbooks is NOT like riding a bike. I dislike bookkeeping and so I put it off until my CPA yells at me and tells me to send him all my "stuff". So, about once every 6 - 12 months I have to dust-off Quickbooks on my computer and re-learn importing data from my bank, reviewing transactions, and reconciling accounts... and each time it's like learning to ride a bike all over again... blindfolded... with two broken legs. UGH! Thank GOODNESS I found Glenn and iPro Bookkeeping! I actually really enjoy watching people do work in areas in which they are very skilled, and Glenn proved to be a fantastic opportunity! I had the choice to either bring-in / send my files or have him screenshare with me remote to my desktop. I chose the latter and it worked perfectly!
