There are lot of dentists out there that are just plain rough, which makes people afraid to go to the dentist, but these doctors are very gentle and conscientious. I have been very happy with all of the services that Sipes Dental has provided for me. I went to…read moreSipes Dental for a consultation for dental implants in my upper jaw. Dr. Sipes and his staff took their time explaining all my options thoroughly and gave me an option that I did not know was available to me. I had a previous consultation with another dental group that was misleading in my options and was much more expensive than what Dr. Sipes was offering me. I had previously been reluctant to go to the dentist due to fear of pain, but Dr. Sipes explained why his methods would not cause me outright pain and just a little discomfort. I decided to have a full implant to replace all the teeth in my upper jaw instead of having dentures or a combination of bridges and implants and teeth removals. Dr. Sipes is very knowledgeable and has a very nice manner about him. He didn't speak 'over' me; he made sure that I understood every aspect of the services he was offering. Dr. Sipes was right about the pain...I only had a little discomfort from the shots and the rest of the procedure was pain-free! Recovery from my procedure was quick and pain-free as well. I have been so pleased with the full implant in my upper jaw. It seems as if it is my own natural teeth. It is easy to clean and looks very natural and I'm thrilled that I went with the full implant. The staff have been very nice and helpful. The office is very nice and well- organized. They have state-of-the-art techniques and equipment. I recommend Sipes Dental for anyone, but especially if you have avoided dental treatments due to fear of pain or because you have a lot of dental work than needs done. It's well worth how good you will feel having nice teeth again.

My last visit, 6 months ago, I had my hygiene appt but the Dr. was too busy to come in for a…read morehygiene check. When checking out, I was scheduling for a cleaning in 6 months and a filling for a FRONT tooth. They said they that I would have to wait months for the filling, as the dr was booked. So I scheduled the cleaning and asked to be called if anything opened up for a filling (since I did not want to wait for a filling on a front tooth). No one ever called so I figured nothing opened up. Jump ahead 6 months, someone calls the day before my appt (that I took off work for) and said that I would be seen by another Dr. I said that was fine. 2 hours before my appt they called and asked to cancel. I said that I took off work so they said they would see me. When I got to the appt I was taken back by an assistant who said I was there for a filling. I said no, I'm here for my hygiene appt. they scheduled me for the wrong appt. When I explained she said no, that's not what you're being seen for. I walked out of the room to front desk and asked for info for an office manager which they said they do not have. I told the front desk that I was told I could come in today and be seen by another dr. The assistant snapped and said "yeah for the filling you were scheduled for". She was not there during scheduling and I was clearly upset by a mistake that was made on their end. And being rude to a patient is not ok. As a previous office manage of a dental office, I would not recommend anyone to go here if you want to be treated with respect, have your time valued and receive quality treatment. There clearly needs to be better training and a heavier presence of management or Dr since there is not a manager.
