In terms of the actual job, he removed a sizeable cottonwood tree (about 150 ft. tall / 12 years old) located about 15 feet from the back of the house. Not once was I concerned about the house being damaged (you'll see why once you see him and the guys in action). They also removed the remaining stump, trimmed a separate tree (which turned out beautifully), and chipped/hauled away all the remaining debris. Also impressive is the fact that they didn't damage the yard (or anything else) despite using some heavy equipment. Again, this is partly due to safe cutting / roping techniques (and not dropping large sections of the trunk into the yard, instead lowering each section down one at a time). Overall, 5/5 service without a doubt. Highly recommend and will use again.

Their arborist recommended a clean out of our lacebark elm, which we thought looked okay. Since they had never steered us wrong before, we told them to proceed. One day we returned home after a day out, and noticed right away that the elm looked a lot better than it had. We B Trees had come while we were gone, cleaned out the problem branches, and cleaned up their mess and left. The tree was in a sad state and we were fearful that one of the large limbs would break in high winds resulting in a tremendous amount of damage to our house. We consulted with three arborists, and they all agreed the tree should be removed, but only one of them had a crane large enough to do the job and that was Nick's tree service. This was not an inexpensive project. It was just under $11k. But I cannot speak highly enough of the speed and quality of work that Nick's tree service provided. It took them less than three hours to completely remove this tree. And after they had cut, chipped, swept, and left. You would've never known they were even here, except of course, for the huge hole in our deck where the tree used to be.
