I was asked to return again in an hour-and-a-half. OK.... The sheets were not folded and piled into a nice stack as usual, but badly folded and shoved into a laundry bag. I found one bottom sheet and 2 pillow cases were missing. Yet another trip to the place... She had the bottom sheed and ONE pillow case. [how did these get separated at all, I do not know]. Did she give the missing pillow case to another customer? What really appalled me was the attitude. She didn't seem to care that the laundry wasn't done the first time, and wasn't even sorry that items weren't returned with the others. She only kept repeating that she had one pillow case when she had two at the start. She was completely apathetic and unprofessional.

There's a new laundromat opening up about a mile away, and I'm giving this place one last shot to win my loyalty. The main reason I come here is the convenience of location. By car the commute can get tricky as nobody lets you off Adam st, but I can reach this place on foot, which is the main draw for me. It's also cheaper than other places around, starting at a mere 1.75 for wash and 1.25 for dry, which fits about two weeks of clothes for my single hamper load. There is an ATM on site if you're opposed to getting cash back at one of the nearby banks or stores. Might as well stop for snacks if you're camping out, as the vending machine is a rip off, and the Hello Sweets folks are across the way. You won't find any seating if you do stay, so for those of you who don't feel stable perched on the table like myself, you can wait in your car, or on the outside bench or criss cross your applesauce right on the floor. Nobody is there to care. I have never seen any management throughout my washing days here, regardless of what time I show up. Which explains the mess, as often there is trash on the floor (today a cigarette butt that I still faintly smell and dryer sheets) despite cans around. 97 rock plays on the radio and I'm not daring to look up at the stained, dusty ceiling as the inside of the machines is what matters. They look clean enough. After ages of letting them sit, it looks like they finally installed the new machines that were parked in front of the window. I always pick the same duo, as half of them are seemingly broken. There are carts. There is free internet (tomato87). There's a change machine that hates slightly folded one dollar bills that shoots quarters out at me as I try to get coins to fill the machine. If you have low standards, you can do your laundry here. But my heart, and dirty underwear are fat from loyal.

It's small and homey, with 14 older top-load washers ($2.00/wash), 2 industrial front-loaders ($3.50/wash) 1 old fashion washer/dryer (when I say old, I mean like dirt...but never fear! It's for decorative purposes only, and adds to the ambiance of the place). There are 11 dryers ($0.25/6 min). A bit steep for drying, but if you can get in to one of the larger washers, it isn't so bad. Forget your laundry essentials at home? They've got you covered! There is a dispenser for all of your laundry needs ($1.00/item). Also a Pepsi machine if you need a caffeine fix. There was no attendant during my visit, but double-bonus,...it's open 24 hours in case you get a midnight urge to do laundry.

The place is normally way more trashed than what the pictures show, it's been a slow day here today. This place has turned into a complete shithole!! No longer recommend this place and I'll be finding someplace else to do my laundry.
