I can honestly say these reviews are NOT AI as I have lived here since Paxton opened and left several praising. Great staff hardworking, empathetic and helpful. Beautiful building. Rarely hear noise, like any other community building and I have lived in several coming from New York. Dogs bark, people move around its everyday life. No ragers here. Lots of families. Lots of none families. Wonderful events every month (thank you, Paxton) for thinking of our community. read more

Moving is stressful enough... moving alone while trying to be in 14 places at once? Olympic sport. Thankfully, Nycole and Ruth at absolutely saved the day. From quick texts and check-ins to genuinely making me feel supported through the entire move-in process, they made what could have been overwhelming feel exciting instead. The community itself is incredible. The amenities honestly feel more like a boutique resort than an apartment complex. Between the beautiful shared spaces, fun resident events, pet-friendly atmosphere, and the fact that everyone here is genuinely kind and welcoming, it already feels like home. And can we talk about having garage parking, storage, bike parking and an in-unit washer and dryer ON TOP of everything else included? Life changing. You can tell a lot about a place by the people who run it, and this team truly cares. So happy I chose this community and excited to settle in here! read more

I wanted to like this apartment because it looks nice and it's a newer building, but the noise has been a big disappointment. The sound insulation is honestly not good. I can hear my upstairs neighbor walking around all the time, and sometimes it feels like the floor or walls shake from normal footsteps. It makes it really hard to relax or sleep, especially at night or early in the morning. For the price and the way this place is advertised, I expected it to be much quieter. The apartment looks nice on the surface, but the day-to-day living experience hasn't felt like "luxury" to me. If you're sensitive to noise or need good sleep, I would think twice before moving here. Paxton apartment has been a great experience so far. Mike and his maintenance team is responsive and gets things done quickly. Move-in day had a small hiccup with the keys but the staff handled it and got it resolved. Nick is very helpful. Overall happy with my decision to move here! - Josefina T read more

I have tried to give this property the benefit of the doubt, because the beginning and move in was great, but after living here for the past 6 months and dealing with the same issues repeatedly, I feel it's important to share my experience. The noise is constant. Almost every single day and night, there is excessive banging, heavy walking/stomping, bass/music, and general impact noise coming from surrounding apartments, mainly upstairs. This isn't an occasional inconvenience, it has been an ongoing issue throughout the entire time I've lived here. I have sent multiple emails to management and called after-hours security a handful of times when the noise has been particularly disruptive. Despite repeatedly reporting the problem, nothing meaningfully changes. Staff also does not consistently respond to concern emails. I am still waiting for a response to my most recent email regarding the ongoing noise. The reality is that we have had to adapt our entire routine just to get some peace and quiet. I have to wear earplugs every night to sleep. If I want to watch a show or simply have some quiet time, I often have to wear headphones. We run a fan on full blast and a white-noise machine on full blast, and I still hear the louder banging, footsteps, and bass through the earplugs. At this point, it feels like we're constantly trying to drown out the building rather than actually being able to enjoy our home. The response to complaints has also been disappointing. The staff I have interacted with are generally friendly, but being friendly is not the same as being proactive or attentive when residents repeatedly raise legitimate concerns. Sometimes the response seems to amount to a reminder email about community policies and even that isn't consistently followed up on. A reminder isn't a solution when the same problems continue day after day. There is also an ongoing ant problem throughout the building. This isn't limited to one apartment or one floor. Ants have been coming through open/unsealed areas around the caulking in my apartment, and I have had to spray multiple times in different areas. I have personally had to address this problem in my apartment at least three separate times. Being my son and I have asthma and he's very young I have had to purchase my own pest control spray that is kid, pet friendly rather than the usual chemical spray that doesn't hold that maintenance or pest control would use. There are also ongoing cleanliness issues around the property, including pet urine and feces on sidewalks, urine in the elevator, and trash left around the sidewalks and grass on the side of the building. I want to be fair: the staff members I've personally interacted with have generally been pleasant. My frustration is with the lack of consistent action, communication, and follow-through on issues that directly affect residents' ability to comfortably live in their homes, their mental health and overall wellbeing. A home should be somewhere you can sleep, relax, and enjoy some basic peace and cleanliness without having to wear earplugs, headphones, run multiple sources of white noise, and repeatedly report the same problems. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns more seriously and addresses the underlying issues rather than simply sending another reminder email after a complaint, or not responding at all. read more

TL;DR: Ruth at Paxton Apartments is a gem. She's been incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely kind throughout my move-in process (scheduled for October). The apartments are modern, quiet (incredible soundproofing!), pet-friendly, and located near your everyday stores. I'm excited to be moving in soon and highly recommend scheduling a tour! ------- I've been working with Ruth since August in preparation for my October 2nd move-in, and I truly can't say enough good things about her. From day one, she made the onboarding process smooth, friendly, and as stress free as you can get when it comes to moving. She went above and beyond to help me understand every step of the application and lease process. Ruth followed up quickly, offered call-backs when I needed clarification, and even walked me through missing documents or possible issues before they ever became a problem. She's kind, knowledgeable, and seems to actually care about the people she's working with. When I toured the apartments this past week, Ruth did a great job placing me in a unit that suits my needs perfectly! It gets just the right amount of sunlight, is ideal for dog walks, and has convenient access to both the garage and elevator. It genuinely felt like she listened and matched me with care, not just whatever was available. I'm really excited to move in, especially now that construction is wrapping up and residents are starting to move in toward the end of September and early October. Ruth even let me know that move-ins can reserve the elevator by appointment, which is super helpful. The apartments themselves are fresh, modern, and built with amazing soundproofing (there was active construction outside, and I didn't even notice until I opened the balcony door). The location is also great since it's near 5 Points Plaza, the beach, freeway access, and near Beach Blvd./Main for stores like Target, Walmart, H-Mart. Bonus: you can ALSO skip Beach Blvd traffic during peak hours due to where it's situated. Be sure to check out Paxton as they're having promotions and schedule a tour. The staff is great, apartments are fresh and modern, and the amenities seem promising! read more

Paxton - Kitchen in the 2bd unit. Love the modern appliances, flooring, and overall aesthetic! - Apartments Near Me - Huntington Beach, California

I found Paxton after trying to tour other apartment complexes in the area, and I say trying, because it was impossible to set up a tour at some places or if you visit, there are never any staff in sight. A huge red flag for what it would be like live there. This doesn't happen at Paxton. I gave Paxton a call and someone picked up IMMEDIATELY and said I could come in right then. My first experience walking into the building was immediately being greeted by staff and Ruth! The building itself is brand new so it's already eye-catching and promising from the start, including multiple staff within view who are ready to help. I was able to tour many of the units, which were all very clean and brand new. They all had looked to be top-of-the-line Samsung appliances. And the unit itself was only part of what was being offered here. After Ruth helped me check out a lot of the units, we checked out the brand new gym, the roof-top pool which is private from the public, and the brand new stainless steel grills that get cleaned DAILY by maintenance. They have private areas where you can get into a conference type room and work, they have so much to offer here it's incredible. They also do regular events where you can meet others who live there, and you get free food! And there's also free coffee (I think like 10/month at this very nice coffee machine on the first floor). Honestly, you find yourself picking and choosing for amenities after already accepting you're going to have to pay more, but with this place, you don't need to pick and choose, you have it here. And you get a little extra too. After deciding what unit I'd like to have, the process for applying was very simple. Ruth sat down with me and helped me apply and I was approved and ready to go by the next day. Ruth even saved me some breakfast from an event they had earlier that day! Exceptional service and very friendly staff overall. It's a completely different experience than what I've had with other places. read more

Paxton HB has been an absolute delight from the moment I arrived. A friend recommended I check it out since I was hoping to move quickly, and although I'm pretty particular about where I live, this place did not disappoint. If you value your sanity, don't move here. This apartment building has paper thin floors. I have been dealing with extremely loud upstairs neighbors for the past 2 months. Management doesn't care and will not enforce the "quiet hours" that are advertised, even though I have dozens of videos showing the obscene noise from 10pm-2am. Don't waste your money here, I'll be leaving as soon as my lease is up. Don't be fooled by all of the 5 star reviews on google, they are almost all fake AI nonsense. If you plan to have parties every night or play the drums, this is the perfect place for you as there are zero consequences, you won't be fined. read more

First of all the customer service I received at Paxton was TOP TIER! The moment I walked in I felt welcomed by Nicole, Ruth & Thelma. I looked and leased the same day and happy I made the decision . I recommend anyone to check out the Paxton and become my new neighbor. You won't be disappointed!!! read more

In my opinion, Paxton Huntington Beach is one of the best places to live in Orange County. The complex is thoughtfully designed with convenient parking, a beautiful pool, and a prime location right across from Trader Joe's. Many of my friends live here, and it's easy to see why. A special thank you to Ruth, who was incredibly kind, patient, and empathetic. She walked us through every option with care and made sure we felt supported throughout the entire process. read more

Wanted to leave a quick review for the leasing office, especially Ruth and Nycole, for being a great help during the touring and move-in process. I am pretty particular when picking a unit (layout, location in building, lighting, etc.) and they were very patient in helping me look again and again until I came to a final decision. I also had many questions when confirming all the policies on the lease, payment, and promotions which Ruth answered all of these in detail. The move in process was pretty seamless, and since living at Paxton, Ruth has been especially helpful as I learned to navigate the different amenities and parcel system. Maintenance is always an important factor for me, and they have been very responsive from my experience thus far. Security is also highly enforced on the property so you might have to work with it if you use a lot of delivery services outside of normal business hours but at least you know your belongings and self are safe. In terms of the property, there are great amenities which I have yet to use all as it's only been a month. I've had no problems with the appliances in my apartment, although I will say the cabinets and all are pretty tall and due to the water saving requirements the toilet does have slightly lower water pressure than I'm used to. Also, a bonus is a lot of parking spots have storage above to keep any extra belongings. Neighbors are friendly, noise is minimal but if you're particular about this make sure to ask if your neighbors above have dogs. The location is great in terms of how accessible Hmart, Costco, restaurants, gas stations, banks and more are. The drive down beach in the morning to the freeway is actually pretty light, if commute is a factor. I will update this as I live here longer, but so far I've had a pretty good experience living here with minimal downsides and great support from the leasing office. The on-site staff can be a major factor regarding the experience you have living anywhere and Paxton's team, being friendly and responsive, is definitely worth checking out. read more

High density with very small rooms. Dogs barking and pooping on public sidewalk. Kid friendly - screaming and yelling just out of control.
