You can miss it if you are not paying attention. The ladies here are always so friendly, and they now know me by name. They take their time and listen to the clients request. I have been to other places in the past. This one by far is still my favorite, and it is conveniently close to my job and home. They have services other than eyebrow/ face threading. They do massages, facials, as well as mani/pedicures. The prices are right, especially with the service they provide. Tip: When they ask you if you want lotion, say yes! I have ingrown toenails, so pedicures can be painful if they're not done properly. Paula and Leah take such great care of me that my toenails never hurt after an appointment. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, we were told Leah had overbooked and Billy would be taking us instead. I offered to wait for Leah, but my concerns were disregarded. The entire service felt rushed. Her toenails were poorly shaped, and the Dazzle Dry polish was thick, chunky, uneven, and left on her cuticles. When I asked for it to be cleaned up, I was told "after." For her manicure, she was left sitting in the pedicure chair. It was extremely uncomfortable for her, and the manicure was just as rushed, with poor shaping and uneven polish. We were then hurried to the drying station, where one of her nails was smudged. Rather than redoing it, another employee tried to smooth it out with her fingertip. When I asked if it could simply be redone, I was told, "That will take longer." At checkout, they also refused to honor the 15% senior discount currently advertised on their website and charged me $5 more than the prices listed online. I had hoped to find a salon where I could bring my mom and have her feel genuinely pampered and cared for. Sadly, this was not it. Several of the negative reviews described experiences very similar to ours, and I now wish I had paid closer attention to them. I hope the owner does the same.

New Years Eve 2014. 9 sessions later, and not only has she done a terrific job with zapping out most of my facial hair (i started very hairy, srsly), but she's really someone I'd be proud to call a friend. She's just so charming and funny. She creates an amazingly relaxing scene, causing for a much less painful and stressful experience. And, in my case, she was so, so helpful and reassuring when I needed to disclose a piece of rather personal info to her before moving forward. Total pro about it. Total cool chick. She's now located inside Primary Walk-In center on Warren Ave in East Providence. Very convenient from 195 and plenty of parking. The front desk staff is equally cool and welcoming, and even a comfy waiting area with TV and a view out to the street. Scenic enough ;) Ultimately the results have been better than I ever hoped for. I will have at least a few more sessions on my face with her, but by now it's mostly finishing up a process I thought would take years. You'll know exactly what to expect because she explains everything in such human terms. The pain of the laser isn't so bad (she's got those squishy stress balls, yeah they help), she's quick, makes sure you're lotioned up to ease the soreness afterwards (at least for face treatments), and makes paying and scheduling effortless. And always timely with appointment times and reliable. I will absolutely make her my first choice if/when I need other body areas lasered. I totally trust her. Would laser with her again. 10/10.

Despite being the only client there, the service felt rushed and overly aggressive, leaving me with redness, raised welts around my brows, and one eyebrow shape noticeably changed despite requesting only a simple cleanup. I came in with natural brows I was happy with and left with two uneven shapes that will now take months to grow out and correct. This is not my first disappointing experience at this location, which is why I felt it was important to share. Based on my experiences, I can no longer recommend this location with confidence.

But when I asked for a change in style, the result missed the mark by quite a bit. When I reached out about it, the manager had me jump through several hoops--sending multiple photos of my hair and the inspiration style--and their email replies were incredibly long and complicated. A simple solution would have been to just have me come back in for a quick fix. Instead, after all of that, I was offered "a couple of highlights," which felt like too little, too late considering everything I'd already gone through. For $300 and a $60 tip, it really should have been better.
