We started out as being really loyal customers of Bailey and Diggity; that's what makes this…read morenegative review so difficult to write and how she treated us hard to understand. We have two dogs - a Min Pin and an Australian Kelpie (or some mixed breed herding dog). Before we got the Kelpie, we'd been going to Bailey over a year. Again, other than regular dog stuff - we'd had no issues from daycare or boarding. We even bought her an Edible Arrangement when her granny passed - not relevant to this situation, but to provide context for how much we appreciated her. Our 6yo Min Pin was bitten SEVERAL TIMES by a dog while in her care. Bailey said absolutely nothing. We just happened to discover it once we got home and were taking his sweater off. We reached out several times and got absolutely no response. He ended up having to go to the vet; he had an infection. Again, we reached out...not just for reimbursement, but for clarity on what happened. She did NOT respond to us at all. I'm extremely disappointed in how she handled us. We're not perfect, but we've been overall really good customers and were always flexible. We're not the type of people to "roll up on her," yet, that's exactly what I felt like doing. Our dogs are our family and it's sad and disgusting to know that someone would injure one of our family members and not tell us - especially when they're supposed to be watching and caring for them. We waited about a month to write this review because we've been so upset. Shame on you, Bailey. We deserved better and you know that. Stay away from this place.

These guys are great. I moved here a few months ago. You know the deal when you first move…read moresomewhere. You have to replace all your go-to's from your old life. The dog-related ones worried me more than anything. A local specialty pet store mentioned Diggity Dawgs. As it turns out, the recommendation was a great one. I have 100% confidence my dog is well taken care of. She pulls her way in every time I drop her off and comes home tired from day care or longer stays. I don't ask for much, but when I have they are always agreeable. The cherry on top is them offering to drop my shepherd off to me when my car wouldn't start after returning late from a vacation to find my car battery was dead. They genuinely love animals and will care for your dog as if it were your own.

This review is for the grooming side only (haven't used the day camp.)…read more My 23 lb beagle mix gets a twice a month bath with special shampoo for his allergies and, because he hates baths and acts like I'm putting him through pure torture, we've opted to go to a groomer for it. Trey has been my dog groomer for over three years now, and he is truly just the best around: incredible groomer, magician with nervy dogs, and just all around kind human. When he moved to Camp Bow Wow earlier this year, it was a no brainer to follow him. He's one of the most reasonably priced groomers in the area and does an incredible job with all sorts of dogs. My dog genuinely loathes bathes and is overall a nervous dog around other dogs. Trey puts him at ease and he comes wagging his tail every time he seems him, even though he knows he's getting a bath. His nails are always filed down and maintained well and he smells so delightful after a groom with adorable fluffy fur! The facility is super clean and I appreciate the dogs are separated for grooming and have their own crates while being groomed. When my dog got skunked when I was out of town last year, for no extra charge, Trey worked his magic and in a couple of visits the smell was almost gone. True miracle worker and I'm so grateful we found him, as it takes a huge headache out of my life and helps me to know I'm always leaving my baby for a few hours with someone I trust. There's a dedicated parking lot for customers and I appreciate that staff is on top of making sure any dog who comes here is up to date on shots/vaccinations. Even though I don't use the day camp services the staff at the front desk are incredibly kind and welcoming to me and my pup and give him little treats and hugs every time we come in. It's a wonderful and welcoming experience and I can't recommend getting your fur child groomed here with Trey enough!

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Camp Bow Wow today. I brought my 7-month-old…read morepuppy in for his evaluation, which I was told would last a "minimum" of three hours. Instead, I was called back within about 10 minutes and told that he had "failed" because he was "too nervous." This was his very first time at the facility. He's a puppy in a completely new environment, surrounded by unfamiliar people, sounds, and dogs. Expecting him to immediately jump into the group and be perfectly comfortable within minutes seems unrealistic. He wasn't being aggressive, reactive, or causing any problems. From what I saw watching the camera in the waiting room, he was simply sitting off to the side and taking time to adjust the new environment. What upset me most was that he was not given a fair opportunity. A puppy who is understandably nervous in a new environment deserves patience, guidance, and time to acclimate--not a failure after 10 minutes. Had I known the evaluation consisted of only a few minutes to prove himself, I would have had very different expectations. I understand the importance of maintaining a safe environment for all dogs, but I left feeling that my puppy was judged before he was ever given a real chance. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the welcoming, supportive environment I was expecting from a daycare that works with dogs of all ages and temperaments.
