More recently, I've noticed a lot of people not taking care of their dogs poop. It is all over the place. To add on to that, today my dog was attacked by another (bigger) dog. It grabbed her by the leg and dragged her. She now has a stitch in her leg from the puncture wound. Point of this review... watch out for dog poop and watch out for other dogs. Be cautious. I don't want this happening to anyone else.

While sipping, we jumped into their trivia night, which was such a blast. It had just the right mix of fun and competition (and maybe a little friendly arguing over answers!). Dinner came from a Mexican food truck parked right outside, tacos and beer are a combo I'll never say no to. Once trivia wrapped up, we stuck around and played some board games they had available. It turned into one of those unexpectedly awesome nights where time just flies. Different schools and organizations use the complex as well as individual residents and everything in the complex is very well maintained. Several huge and very nice baseball fields, a football and soccer field, hoop and tennis courts, a skate park, a nice running track and even a dog park are available. It is a huge area and many people just use the area to jog or go for a walk. During the summer lots of different leagues use the facilities and there is always something going on. Fortunately the complex has a huge parking lot so even with zillions of people around parking is usually not a problem. In the winter I have seen people cross country skiing and snow shoeing here. A wonderful town park that meets the needs of just about any activity you could want. A great place for some recreation or relaxation.

Lots of port-a-john near the beaches and a building closer to parking. No swimming was allowed at the beaches. Plenty of fishing though. Nice place to walk and look for shells. The mansion gardens are small and beautiful. Lots of colorful plants. Graceful collonade. Definitely a nice spot for photos. Lots of pollenators enjoying the gardens too. Pathways through the park are a mix of paved and gravel. Watch out for goose poop when crossing through the fields. Pets are welcome on a leash and be sure to pick up after them. State parks are "carry in, carry out" so there are no trash bins. Be sure to bring your own trash bag to dispose of your trash at home.
