The staff is super friendly and helpful, never rushing me when I have questions. The feeder rats i usually pick up from here always look super healthy & well fed so my snake gets to eat like a champ! I've also grabbed all my lighting and terrarium supplies here, the owner was super helpful in going over the details of the arcadia lumenize lighting. The store is clean, well-organized, and they pack everything carefully for the trip home. Five stars all the way!

First, we had to do a little shopping in the adorable boutique. Frita picked out a matching pink bandanna and birthday hat to wear to her big celebration (so cute)! She then sampled a new flavor for her of the doggy ice cream. It was the peanut butter with bacon bits on top and she definitely enjoyed it. It makes me so happy that I can do cute stuff with her in such a fun and aesthetic setting. And we wrapped up our trip by the amazing owner Celena helping us take birthday pictures in the photo area. I just love the murals and it's such a cool way to create awesome memories with my doggo that I'll cherish forever! As I walked in I was greeted by the owner, and the space was bright, clean, and perfect for dogs! In fact, two dogs were having a blast there with their owners. Bark n berry not only has cakes, cookies; and ice cream for your best friend, they offer other goodies like CBD, treats, toys, and clothing. The owner gave me a tour and explained the back area was for birthday parties and special events. I ended up buying candles, a birthday cake, and some delicious dogie ice cream. Blossom would not come out of kennel, like she was scared. I had to call her name twice. Olivia had eavesdropped on a phone call that dialed her by mistake. She made up a story that I said I talked down on her. So she told me she didn't want to groom Blissom anymore. What she said she heard was not true. I was very upset and uncomfortable. She was making up excuses to me. Just because she was upset with me, she didn't have to scare Blosson. Actually she did me a favor, her true colors came out. I told her she could ask my ride, to verify it wasn't true what she said. She refused to talk to him. I am 73 years old and have Bone on Bone arthritis everywhere. She was very rude.

She said they were too long and would need to be cut by a veterinarian. I insisted I had been waiting for him to get groomed. He looked the same as last time I bought him. It is sad to say in 2022 that some of the front people don't necessarily see people who don't look like them as worthy of certain pleasantries. Similar to my post at a particular hardware store; I rarely make a fuss or a big deal about greetings. But when things are blatant and in your face - you have to see it for what it is. I could have let that go, except when I was clearly next in line, someone came from outside of the store with a question and the guy at the register basically acted like he didn't see me and was going to tend to her. Of course she didn't look like me. The customer acknowledged me. It was at that point I decided to go to the gentleman at the other register and let him help her. Once the young man finished with the customer, I was fully cool with staying where I was at, but he called me over because the gentleman was still wrapping up a purchase. I went and finished my purchase as to keep things moving. Normally I would take my dollars elsewhere but the comfort of my pet came first today as I needed some supplies quickly. Next time I know. Again if you don't care about that sort of thing I believe you will have a better experience.
