We are brand new doggie parents so we didn't have establish care at any local veterinary clinic or hospital. So when our puppy got deathly ill we begged every clinic in town to help us and Allen creek took mercy on us and treated our doggie. When the treatment needed was going to be completely out of our budget they intensely questioned us to see what we were able to do at home and what needed to be done at the hospital. Instead of a week in the hospital we hospitalized him overnight and did the rest of the care at home with an assortment of medication, probiotics, and ways to keep him hydrated.

They are extremely disrespectful, impatient and are not educated in the field. They also lost or misplaced our animal records: including medication, vaccination and prior surgery records. Thankfully we will keep copies of all the records. On top of that the staff was selling us the incorrect dosage and weight hip vitamin for our smaller dog. There is plenty of veterinary hospitals and or offices in the Grants Pass area. I would avoid this location at all costs.

I was really pleased at the location-kind of out in the country and nice and quiet. There was a main house (where I assume the owners live) and then the kennel (they do grooming here as well). We have boarded our dog now a few times at Breton's and our vet, and never has he been taken care of as well as he was here. I was also amazed at the price. $18.00 a night. Very different from the $26-$32 we are charged at home. This place also has huge suites for the pets and though he was whiny when we left him, he wasn't extra whiny or sheddy or jumping to leave like other times. This is really telling and I wish this place were closer to home. I would recommend using them for sure!
