So many glowing reviews here on Yelp. THIS ONE IS A CAUTION. I scheduled an appt. with this…read moregroomer because of the reviews. No time in a cage sounded good to me, and I made contact through Yelp's site. We arrived on time and learned that the groomer had contacted our vet to get proof of a Rabies vaccination. This felt a little intrusive because I told the groomer that I would happily provide proof. No big deal, so I let it go. We arrived with a photo of my dog's breed (Cavapoo) written requests/instructions on what I hoped for, and notations on the photo. "Not too short please; left about 3/4 of an inch. Please keep her muzzle full and round. DO NOT CUT OFF HER EYELASHES." "That's too short! You'll be back in 4 weeks, and that is not a photo of a your dog's breed." The groomer said. It absolutely was a photo of my dog's breed, but it wasn't worth pressing. We were told that we would receive a call "half an hour before she is ready." We shopped and killed time. Two hours passed and concerned, we called to see if we could retrieve our pup. "She is not ready yet. She is giving me a hard time trimming around her face. We'll call you when ready; about a half hour." The thought of my little girl being on the table over two hours was concerning. We tried to do some more shopping but were too worried. We called after more time had passed. "Another 25 minutes! We'll call you." We drove over and knocked on the locked door. It was partially opened and we were told "Another 25 minutes!" We waited another 20 minutes. "That's enough!" my husband said. "Let's get our dog." We knocked on the locked door and when it was again only cracked open, we made our way in. We paid with a tip. The GROOMER DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB ON OUR DOG'S BODY, but HER LITTLE FACE WAS RUINED! Her eyelashes were gone! Her muzzle was shaved from her eyes to the tip of her nose and was shaved so close that she had razor burn. Her chin was trimmed flat. Her head was shaved so it looked like she had a Neanderthal bulge. It will grow out, but I am heartsick that I put my puppy through hours of grooming, and angry that her beautiful little face was so horribly altered. THIS GROOMER TALKS AT YOU AND DOES NOT LISTEN OR TAKE INTO ACCOUNT YOUR WISHES! It's been two weeks since this occurred. I wanted to wait 'till I wouldn't be writing this in anger, but BEWARE!

I called Cheroane the same day and she made me an appointment for first thing the next morning. Not only did she do a great job grooming this somewhat unruly and aggressive dog, but she discovered a paw injury the shelter had overlooked and also made me aware of possible dental issues based on the dog's behavior. The dog also had dry skin and hair loss issues so she gave me some really helpful tips/info on that too. I'm so appreciative of her help and will definitely be taking my "new" old dog back to her.

Horrible pet salon, we always take my dog here to get his haircuts and it never went bad up until…read morethis recent time. My dad picked my dog up, Stephanie the manager was the one who cut his hair and when he got picked up all she mentioned was how "he was just a little nervous" and that was all. No mention about the wound or dry blood on his fur. The two days after I noticed my dog was acting odd and unusual anytime someone pet him he cried and seemed like he was hurt, at first I thought it might've been a random injury within because there was nothing wrong with how he was walking just a little more bit scared than usual. Then around third day I came home from work and sat on the floor to greet him and pet him sure gently just putting my hand over his head to back massaging very delicately, and when I passed his head he cried and I also felt a hard scab like thing. I then told my dad and aimed the flashlight on his head to see what it was and all we could see was dry blood and the screenshot within the last image provided was what we saw. We think only knew it was due from his haircut because he had only been acting weird after coming back and crying randomly. We then went to the salon the next day early opening and brought him so we can see and they immediately tried defending there staff, yes apologized for the very least and offered to either clean it up as best they can right now or go to any vet place to help him further more. They also mentioned the charges would fully be covered so we took him to the vet the day after and they told us theyd have to sedate him which was super scary knowing he just turned 13 years old, and not only that they mentioned the cut was analyzed as a blade cut from the haircut gear they use and that the cut was one centimeter deep and width in size. The cut was also infected due to the time passed since after his haircut and it would've all been significantly less traumatizing and less painful for my dog if they would've just told us the mistake that occurred. If it was said day of it wouldn't have been infected nor needed so much more to go through but the manager Stephanie didn't wanna take accountability clearly. I understand mistakes happen but you were with animals these are peoples children please speak up even if it was a big mistake! Not only that after my dad sent the billing like they said to send the billing of and they were denying it fighting against paying it. The craziest part is the pet salon said that the vet told them it was a "bump" not a razor blade cut and so my dad had to call the vet place and ask if they got called by a certain number which was the salon and said they never called and never said that. After so much back and forth with a few days passing of them fighting against trying to pay the charges the vet was in contact with the pet salon and at the end the pet salon paid up. Which was super embarrassing, how are you gonna fight against paying for one of ur clients injuries you guys caused. If anything you guys should be quick to accepting to help after hurting our dog. We also asked for the footage and the owner kept trying to say he couldn't because he had to protect his employees as if their employees were the ones who got hurt. You guys genuinely are heartless and lack so much accountability and sympathy, cant image working at a pet place and hurting a dog and denying to show the film, paying to help, and even fighting against a case like this. Also if you "can't show the film to protect ur employees" what is there protecting for if you guys are claiming there was no harm done. You guys are horrendous.
