The Covid situation has put a great deal of pressure on many small businesses and this is obviously…read morethe case with this small business as well. I thus was patient with them about the many changes that have occurred for a long time and continued to tip very generously, to try to help them out. In the end, though, I have to conclude that the stress has made the owner into someone quite different than the person that I first met when choosing this groomer (to employees as well as to customers - firing employees and then posting derogatory comments about them on Facebook is not something that a nice person ever would do) and that this changed attitude has destroyed everything that I liked about this business. So I can no longer recommend these folks. Maybe someday, if the business does not close, things will go back to how they used to be, and it is with that hope that I am giving them 3 stars rather than 1 star. Good luck to them in the future.

Ok! This is for us. (Who knew?) Dropped in on a Saturday AM. Explained situation. They understood what was up. They would use their nail clippers vs the Dremel I was using at home. Nails trimmed in no time flat. Friendly staff helped get Frank out to the car afterward. (I use a rollator. Frank has zero manners. Huge fall risk.) BUT she also helped get Frank calmed by allowing him to go to the bathroom and then helped get him into the minivan afterward. W h e w . Huge help. Frank is now walking much better. He is more comfortable. Great nail trim job just into itself. While in their shop, they helped make recommendations for grooming tools for his unusual (German Shepherd x Husky mutt) coat. They were able to address both of what had been our two biggest problem areas. I've been coming to Meyer's for years with my two previous Canaan Dogs. Meyer's dealt with their tricky dispositions easily. Meyer's has provided reliably superlative services throughout. The dogs loved it at Meyer's. Glad to see Meyer's remains in Roscoe as ever and still provides the same level of doggie care.

We took our 8 year old golden in for her first grooming. My daughter always did it but is too busy…read morenow. Addie needed it. She has anxiety so I was nervous for her. They were nothing but kind. Addie looked and smelled fantastic when she was done. Clean not the fake perfume smell. They accepted her vocal ways when she was not the center of attention. We are very pleased with the results. Her face book page is 5 stars so I'm not sure why Yelp is so low. We loved the experience. Thank you ladies!!

They cleaned them, medicated them after the vet visit, but they were there from Feb till July... We checked in on them, by phone as we were forced 9+hrs away from the home, but that's an insurance/mortgage issue...we were paying them, even drove all the way there to pickup one of our babies when they got sick. Emails, texts, etc...always in contact. Then, again the workers are amazing, a management person, I'm not giving names but I do have receipts and emails, decided to send a threatening email that they were going to give our cats to humane society because we weren't in contact with them, they hadn't been paid....all of which was bullshit again I have everything to prove the management was full of shit. Yes they were there a long time, our house is still being rebuilt, my family is in 4 different states, we're not even in personal housing of any kind so they were the safest place to keep them. So our neighbor, bless her heart, took them in for now and even that's running out because house is being built. I recommend the workers there but the management has zero clue as to what's going on, decides whatever whenever, never saw our cats, never talked to the workers who were also very confused as to why this was happening. If you need proof Ive got it on hand! 5 stars for workers and their ability to groom and love your pet. 1 star for management who just want to give your pets away to the humane society.

Took my 14 lb dog in for a groom. After 4 hours I called to see if my dog was about done and was…read moretold it would be another hour or so but they couldn't guarantee that because they hadn't started grooming her yet. In 4 hours the only thing they had done was give her a bath and she wasn't even dry. I told them I needed to pick her up in a hour at the latest because I had an appointment. Was told I should have let them know if I had anything else to do that day. Other people told them they had appointments so they put those dogs in front of mine. What? So what is the purpose of an appointment? So I went and got my dog and got charged $30 for a bath. Guess I should have paid attention to the bad but accurate reviews. Be a better dog mom and take your dog somewhere other than Bubbles & Bows, unless of course you want bad service.
