Plenty of screens & toilets. Last few times it's been relatively quiet, which is nice! You can choose your seat and chill. It has a costa, so you even grab a coffee and take it into the screen with you, beats a fizzy drink sometimes! Opposite costa is the odeon's fast food bit with nachos and drinks etc to get you munching through the moo ooo vie!

I haven't had a bad experience with them yet and they are always super helpful and funny. The food and drink offering is good here too. It also has an in house costa coffee if you prefer to take one of those in instead. Handy as you don't have to walk to the ones further away. On Friday and Saturday book your tickets online and collect them. I was let down the other week when my showing was sold out but the guy was really nice behind the til and gave us VIP seats for our alternative viewing. Like I said..super nice. There are also loads of choices for food either before or after in the surrounding restaurants.

The cinema does tend to concentrate on popular hit films, but they often have one-off showing of great older and foreign films. There is a large car park so you can drive here and if you use the cinema or other businesses your car park ticket is validated making the parking free. Free parking in Edinburgh is a bonus! You can go for something to eat and know what to expect in the chain restaurants before heading off to the cinema/bowling alley/casino. It's perhaps not as large as some of the out of town complexes you see in the likes of Glasgow, but it does have everything you need and something for everyone.

In a place like this, it would be so easy, for example, to work with local artists and have some works on display, perhaps in a rotating exhibition. It would give the place a bit more personality, and help people remember the entire complex of FountainPark, rather than just the Cineworld or the casino. Overall, there are great activities on offer at FountainPark, but nothing unique or interesting about the place itself.
