I have waited to post this review because I was really hoping to rectify the situation with the company directly; I tried. After several months and not getting anywhere I am forced to write this. There are several issues, but I will just highlight the main ones here: 1) Puddling in the driveway post their work. We never had puddles before. We now have very large puddles, even after a light rain (see exhibit A); 2) I am not sure about the quality of their asphalt; I don't think I have ever seen plants push up through newly poured asphalt; maybe if there were crack but a brand new driveway (see exhibit B); 3) They actually paved around a stump, which I alerted them to the fact shortly after they finished paving but to no avail. I usedthem for a small job a couple years ago and they were OK. This fall I needed a patch job. Called them four times and received zero response. I tried again last month, called three times and finally someone got back to me. We made an appointment and they came out, 45 minutes late, never apologized. Looked at the job. That was last month and still haven't heard. So I'm guessing they are pretty unreliable. read more

They did an awful job and said they were not responsible for us and delivery vehicles using our driveway. My driveway looks worse now than it did before they came - not to mention paying $800 for a lousy job. read more

After Will came out and gave us a price I called Doug the owner to get some information on the sealant.I've always done my own smaller driveway at our other home.The driveway came out nice and dark and done with a brush like he stated.The cracks filled properly and the sealant was thick and covered great.Not sprayed on light and a greyish color I've seen on others.Will made getting the job done very easy. Honest, to the point, great follow up and service. Would definitely recommend them. We got 4 different quotes and there's was detailed down to how many inches of asphalt, how many inches of base. The quote came with a copy of their license and insurance. Their quote was the same as another company but the promptness and professionalism in the quote won the job and they definitely delivered. read more

I spent 2 weeks trying to contact the company for services. Once I connected with the company, they agreed to come to my house for a quote. I waited 4 hours for them to arrive at the home, and they never showed up to provide a paving quote. My advice is to avoid this company. read more

I used them a few years ago and they did a pretty good job. I scheduled them to reseal my driveway, that was three weeks ago. The day before the hurricane they stopped by about 5:00 pm unannounced and it was spitting rain and wanted to do my driveway. Sealant shouldn't be put down when raining or when rain is expected. I asked them about it and they agreed. They finally scheduled me for Wednesday. Late in the day they said they couldn't make it, but will be there the next day(Thursday) for sure. They didn't show up or even call on Thursday. I had cancelled my boating and other things for the weekend as I couldn't get my trailer out of the yard as the sealer was to be put down. Another day wasted. Around noon on Friday, they called and said they couldn't make it until Monday. I fired them, voicing my displeasure about having them wasting three days of my life. Communication is everything when running a company. If they would have called me when they couldn't show up, my opinion might be different. Do what you say and say what you do. read more

We had small concern that needed to be addressed. They scheduled us right away to come back out. We have been using Pavement services for quite a while and never had an issue. They are a completely honest and first class business. Would definitely recommend them. read more

Payment services is a local Paving and asphalt contractor registered with the state of Connecticut Home Improvement contractors licensed and insured. Payment services sealed my driveway including crack repair. They use a commercial grade anti-skid sealer and crack repair better than what I can purchase that from one of the local Home Improvement stores. Fast neat and clean operation would recommend payment services. read more

Got a call just before 5p when their office was closing. They left a voicemail saying they were coming to seal my driveway tomorrow. I called back 5 mins later to say I needed to re-schedule, unfortunately. In fact, I got the owner of the company, which I figured was a great thing. Boy, was I wrong. He proceeds to tell me it would not be a good idea to cancel (which I completely understand and respective) and then goes on to tell me he does 7,000-8,000 driveways a year and accommodating people's schedules is not how he does business and he will see if he can fit me in before the year ends but cannot guarantee (again, which I understand). So rude. No prior communication was given to warn me when they would be doing the job before their call the night before. You actually shouldn't be in the business if you don't at least give a courtesy call 24 hrs. before coming out to do a job that was never pre-scheduled. I called right back and told him to take me off the list and I will get someone else. I used Greg's Driveway in the past and Gary was so pleasant to work with. I don't know why locals continue to recommend Pavement Services on social media. read more

I asked for a quote from Pavement Services LLC in 2015 to repave my driveway. Sadly a family illness prevented us from contracting the work to be done. I contacted them again this year and the owner came out, on a Saturday, to see the project and said they would honor the price quoted last year. I needed to add a couple of small items to the quote. Their quote was comparable with the other companies I contacted. The work was completed in less than 2 full days. The workers were efficient, quick and respectful of us and our property. The driveway is now looking amazing. The owner gave me great advice on how to maintain it in the future. I would recommend this company to anyone. read more
