After much painstaking research, I settled on Pave Patrol to completely excavate my very old 3,000 square foot asphalt driveway and replace it with concrete. My first contact was with Mike, who came out to measure and answer all my questions. His brother Joe, then took over the entire job. Both of these guys spent an enormous amount of time answering my endless amount of questions, with the patience of saints, all the way through to their last day on this job. The crew showed up early every morning (weather-permitting) and worked throughout each day until the job was complete. They cleaned up meticulously, and even back-filled top soil all around the new driveway and seeded. The end result is nothing short of amazing, and I couldn't be happier. People walking and driving by stop to tell me how beautiful my new driveway is! I have a couple more concrete jobs on my To Do List, and will definitely be reaching out to these guys as soon as I'm ready! read more

Had our driveway seal coated and cracks filled. Within 3 months the seal coating had disappeared in spots, the cracks had recracked. The spots where the coating was gone where mostly the middle of the drive, not even where our car tires ran. They have refused to do any repairs, even though they stand behind their work. Pave Patrol did a great job replacing crack sections of my concrete driveway. Showed up on time and worked the full day to get the work done. Came back the next day to power wash any remnants of their work. They also back-filled dirt around edges of driveway and put down grass seed. My driveway looks great now. I should have had them our years ago. read more

They write their own reviews and give themselves 5 stars. Also, they tried to put my review as not recommended. First of all, they are extremely rude to begin with. They are blaming me to be rude. They sent one of their guys, an older folk with no authority to determine anything. He took pictures and told me he do see an issue and the Joe or his brother need to fix this. I called and younger brother has no manners and how to talk to customers. They did seal the driveway but made up this story of some liquid.. SUCH A SCAM COMPANY IS THIS... I used this company to do my asphalt driveway. They make big promises but don't keep it. I already have potholes in my driveway in less than a year. Sent them pictures and their guy even inspected it. They gave me 5 years warranty on driveway and it is hard to get them to fix the issue. One of the owners is totally arrogant, they show all the great stuff they do but can't do a basic asphalt driveway. Never had such a bad contractor experience and will not recommend anyone to use them. My advice if you still want to use them is don't pay them full money until your 100% satisfied otherwise they will not fix the issue. When the local Dept of Public Works collected leaves from the paved portion in front of my house, they gouged through the asphalt to the stone below. Because we had paved over part of our property more than 25 years ago, they said that this was too old for them to accept responsibility for. Fortunately, my Insurance Company sent me money with a recommendation for Pave Patrol. A date was set; the workers arrived on time and finished their job within 4 hours; they cleaned up after themselves & set up a tape to protect the area for a week. I am delighted with the job that they did, & would cheerfully recommend them. read more

Final looked good but not at all what I wanted. They said they had a problem but even though I was home never told me. I spent so much time cleaning up after them. Gloves, cigerettes, dried concrete everywhere. Now 3 yrs later the color is spotty on my stamped concrete. DO NOT HIRE THEM. My husband called them to see why color spotted and got a response that didn't even address the issue. It didn't matter bc I don't want.them back here EVER. I purchased a 50% off deal from Amazon local for $150 (value $300) to shield my small driveway. After the person came to inspect my driveway, the estimate was $250 so Pave Patrol charged me $100 extra because I paid $150. To me, this was a scam as I shouldn't have to pay anything less than $300 value! I would be ok if the work was done well. It was not, far from it. Two guys came minutes before sun set and had to rush. And they used a small amount of the black tar to spread as much as they can on just some areas of my driveway, I mean some part of the driveway wasn't even touched. After just a few months, there's no sign of the work. I have to find a real company to re-shield my driveway! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! read more

We had 2 large bumps in our asphalt driveway. Pave Patrol recommended that instead of replacing our entire driveway we should simply add an overlay of 2 inches to the existing driveway. Their reasoning -our existing driveway was in good shape except for the 2 bumps. We listened to their recommendation. What we were not told was that the installation of an overlay of 2 inches would result in drainage problems. Drainage problem was not the issue - but massive flooding in our garage as well as the formation of large puddles at the intersection of our pavers and the driveway were. We had never experienced any type of water in our garage or puddles prior to the overlay. We contacted Pave Patrol to come out and look at the situation Upon arrival they actually indicated that: "I guess we should have told you about the drainage issues. We are sorry." They offered several band aid approaches to perhaps fix the problem. A drain pipe extension was added to redirect the water from the garage. Not only was this aesthetically ugly but was ineffective as well. The flooding continued. They also suggested the building of a drainage channel/trench to redirect the puddles of water, This would have meant cutting the asphalt and cutting the pavers with no guarantee of success. After several more hard and wind-blown rains, resulting in the continued flooding of our garage we decided that these suggested band aid approaches would not fix the problem and we needed have the driveway completely redone. We had paid Pave Patrol a large amount of money expecting a functional driveway. Instead, our driveway now pitches towards the garage and pavers which makes flooding and puddles inevitable. Pave Patrol has been quick to suggest temporary band aid approaches but ineffective solutions. We are beside ourselves and feel as if we have been taken advantage of. This has been the worst experience we have ever had with a contractor. As retired senior citizens on a fixed income our voices have not been heard by Pave Patrol. WE IMPLORE ANYONE WHO IS THINKING OF DRIVEWAY REPAIR NEVER TO CONSIDER USING PAVE PATROL. THEIR WORK IS UNSATISFACTORY. THEIR ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE OUR ISSUES WENT FOR NAUGHT. In addition, we have written evidence from other contractors who were asked to to provide an estimate to replace the work completed by Pave Patrol. They all indicated that Pave Patrol's work was solely responsible for the water in the garage and the puddles on the pavers. Save yourselves lots of heartache and frustration by never using Pave Patrol for your driveway repair. I contracted with Pave Patrol to seal my driveway during a string of 90 degree plus days recently. I live in an active adult community and I was on a list along with several other residents to have my driveway coated on the very same day. Unfortunately by the time the applicator got to my home it was Noon and the blacktop on my driveway was hot enough to fry an egg on it. To make matters even worse, my drive is lined with pavers on both sides so the applicator had to work slowly to avoid getting the coating on them. As a result the midday sun baked each swath instantaneously so that the next pass didn't have a chance to mix with the previous one leaving overlap lines from one side of the driveway to the other. For some reason this condition only occurred across the bottom one-third of the driveway, probably because that is where it was the hottest. As someone who is fussy about the appearance of my home, I proceeded to contact Pave Patrol about this condition. They requested that I send some photos via email so that they could visualize what I was referring to. It was their belief at first that the condition would clear itself up in a few weeks. When they followed up with me a few weeks later, I explained that the appearance hadn't changed much so they agreed to send their man out to apply another coat earlier on a day when the sun wasn't so intense and now my driveway looks whole lot better.
