They serve a shorter menu than many of the other Nobu restaurants but all the classic dishes like the Black Cod with Miso are there. The sushi were ok (hard to make the difference between those and the sushi from much cheaper real Japanese restaurants across Europe). But in summary it was excellent, with good fast service and in the amazing setting of the Badrutt Palace. A trip to the Palace is I guess a necessary stop in a St Moritz trip and the restaurant is located in a very pleasant room with elegant and comfortable wooden chairs. Not sure how often Nobu himself is there though The only downside is the price really so we won't do that every night!

What is noteworthy about this place during Christmas is the clientele, as this hotel is where Europe's elite converge during late December, mixed with a few middle easterners and Russians. They engage in a delightfully conspicuous gameshow of "who came out of the most expensive vagina and can prove it by how they dress", which is amazing to watch. You get the sense that the only people who "earned" their wealth in this old money crowd are the young attractive females sitting with the decrepit older well dressed men, both staring at their mobile phones for most of the meal. This place is perhaps worth it for the people watching alone!

It took FOREVER to get our drink orders and later on to get the bill. DJ was a bit bipolar, alternating great tunes with weird stuff I couldn't dance to. I ordered something called Engadiner Wasser to celebrate something local, and it tasted a bit sweet and pleasant, but quite weak. CHF 18,00 for Ketel One Vodka, fresh mint, orange bitter, and apple juice, it came off more like a watery mojito. My bf was lured in by the nice-sounding James Bond (Ketel One Vodka, Angostura Bitter, Sugar cube, Champagne) at a pricey CHF 22,00, but was unfortunately disappointed by the drink. He had thought it would be a sweeter and stronger cocktail, but it actually turned out watery and slightly bitter. Despite the weak drinks and slow service, this place was still a cool venue to hang out for drinks after dinner, and we were lucky to snag a table without reservation due to a no-show.

We had a couple of drinks and we thought that the bartender made good drinks. I would highly recommend anyone to give this restaurant a try.
