I nominate MJ Welding as Paso Robles All Star business. I have…read more done many projects with MJ. They are not just great welders. They can engineer and design any project. Owner Rich came out for an estimate on an HVAC install. The…read moreestimate was 10K For a 1 day install: with 1 electrical and 1 Hvac. Plus a $550 permit and about $400 in materials. So, if you are an electrician for this company make sure you invoice for about $500/hr! And their HVAC guys, I think its awesome your boss pays you $500/hr. But clients beware, there is a lot of gouging going on. Usually its $150/hr for the technical. And call the suppliers, you'll see the cost of the HVAC equipment is much less than you are being quoted! And other than duct work, its an easy day or two for an install. So do the math, and don't let our community be the place where we pay $ 500/hr for electricians.

This place is awesome. Cody is young and ambitious, clean-cut and friendly…read more I came across Cody while I was searching for used welders on craigslist. My plan was to buy a cheap welder to fix my sons go kart. I ended up calling Cody and going over to his shop. He gave me a reasonable quote and did an amazing job on the welding and completed the project in just a couple days. He has a full-blown metal fabrication shop. The project he helped me with was small but it is clear that he has the capabilities and know how to tackle large projects as well. Definitely more of an artist and less of a hacker. This is a new business, I think he's only been around for six months or so. I would not hesitate to bring my future welding projects to Cody and in fact I am no longer shopping for a used welder on craigslist. I don't see any point in buying a welder that I'm only going to use three times a year when I can go over to Cody and get my projects completed quickly, at a reasonable rate and most important of extreme high quality. Congratulations on your business Cody, great to meet you and I hope you do well. Greg
