She confirmed she would do so. 30 minutes later when my son came out, I asked him how it went and confirmed they didn't take x-rays. He told me they actually took a pile of x-rays. The woman behind the counter said 'I'm sorry. You said no flouride but for x-rays you had a longer answer. It wasn't no." I don't know if this is incompetence, negligence, or otherwise, but it's deeply disturbing. "We will not bill you for them," she said. It doesn't feel like Dr. Suh and his team are selling you anything- after your cleaning, he comes in, does a thorough check, asks you questions if something looks off and will tell you if it's something that needs treatment right away or not. He will explain, answer questions and show you on the monitor in the exam room what you need to know. HUGE brownie points for that. As a new patient they were thorough in asking how comfortable I am with dentist visits- I'm an oddball who actually enjoys dentist appointments- rest assured they will make sure you're as comfortable as possible. The detail that goes in to each visit is much appreciated by this over thinker. You get glasses to protect your eyes from any flying bits during your appointment. There's a small monitor if there's a program you want to catch up on.
