I've been going to dr Conrad for 30 years. I drive 45 minutes to continue going to him because he's that amazing. He did my braces, my retainers, pulled many of my teeth, filled my cavities, and all the other things I've probably blocked out through the years. He is understanding and doesn't make you feel guilty when you do thinks like don't wear your retainer like you're supposed to (even gave me a permanent retainer knowing I would never change) or don't floss. He also doesn't charge when you need something fixed (retainer or braces) because he says it's all part of the package. I just hope he never retires. read more

You never see Dr. Conrad at this business. The teeth cleanings were not done well on either of my children and they were in a hurry when they did mine. The hygienist cleaned my lower teeth and then said she would do the top after the dental exam because they were busy (after an excessive wait in the lobby). She never did the top and still charged the full amount to myself and insurance. Not cheap either! read more

I went to Dr. Conrad based on the wonderful reviews from Brighter Score (on my insurance online account) but unfortunately I did not have a good experience. I have had many cleanings and exams over the years and this was the worse cleaning/exam that I have ever had. The assistant started with polishing and then flossed. She did not polish every tooth and the teeth she did polish she did not cover the entire area. She only flossed up and down and not at the base of the tooth. I did not say anything because she was a little rough and I didn't want her near my mouth again. I was relieved when she said the dentist would be in to scale (that is who I scheduled the cleaning appt with) but was soon quite disappointed. After scaling quickly, he then quickly looked with the small mirror and used the Prophy Jet to clean the back of two teeth. He looked at an area that I was concerned about and addressed that. He also checked my bite. I came out of the office feeling like I did not have my teeth cleaned. He is a very nice man so I did not address it with him. Also, I thought the fees would be on the very low end based on the quality of the service and lack of professionalism. My mistake...recently checked my claim online and the fees are high. He even charged for a Comprehensive Oral Exam which he didn't do. He should have only charged for a Limited Oral Evaluation because he did address my area of concern. I feel ripped off and will need to go to another dentist soon to have a thorough cleaning and exam. Maybe if I addressed my concerns he would not have charged so much... lesson learned. In the future, I will only have my teeth cleaned by a hygienist and if necessary, will address poor service. read more

They are genuine and supportive plus take an interest in their clients/patients, like visiting friends, and I never thought I would say that about a Dental practice!! I've never had huge waiting time; in fact, I can remember when I didn't budget sufficient time and I was scared I wouldn't make a work related committment. Conrad saw me faster. read more

I thought we had finally found an amazing dentist. I was looking for a dentist who wouldn't use nitrous to fill my son's cavities. The first time we went Dr. Z told me they have a laser so my son wouldn't even need to get a shot of novocaine. Awesome! They filled one cavity, there were some tears, but that was just an issue of being scared. We left things that we would wait until his next appointment in six months to fill the second cavity. However, my son started complaining that his tooth hurt, so we went back in. Five people walked into the dentist's office the same time we did, but we were called back rather quickly. Dr. Z came in and half-heartedly tried to get my son to open his mouth. My son was slightly scared and not immediately cooperating. Dr. Z took a cell phone call while she was in the room with us. The assistant spent most of her time trying to fit an obviously too big tooth guard into my son's mouth. Then they both just left. No words, they were just gone. We waited approximately one hour for them to come back. Dr. Z comes in and asks if my son is ready. I just shrug my shoulders. They again half-heartedly try for another three minutes and then say he has to go to a pediatric dentist. So, so much wrong with this visit. First, if you don't have the proper instruments to work on a child, don't accept children as patients. Second, don't schedule more than one patient at a time. Third, when working on a child who is scared or apprehensive the worst thing you can do is make them sit there and wait an hour for you to come back and try again. Even if the patient was an adult who was not scared, you do not just walk out and leave a patient for an hour. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Fourth, seriously, do your job. If the patient is scared or apprehensive or not cooperating, find a way to get your job done. You are being paid for your expertise, actually try. Half-attempting for a few minutes is not acceptable. Dr. Z is wonderful and very Knowledgable but I have never seen Dr. Conrad. My family has gone to this Dentist for about 3 years now but we are switching after I witnessed one of the receptionist in the office berate a customer. The waits times are long in this office but most of the staff is pleasant but there is one elderly receptionist that is unbelievably rude. I personally dealt with her short and somewhat snarky comments in the past but after I witnessed her berate and belittle a customer over an insurance payment in front of the entire waiting room, I was done with this office. I was stunned and speechless. I felt so bad for the young customer trying to figure out her insurance statement and the rude receptionist making her feel like she was ignorant. I left the office after witnessing that incident, I made a complaint about it as well and we will not be going back there. It is a shame. read more
