It began with noticing that cleanings were becoming rushed and incomplete -- sometimes it felt like no real cleaning was done at all. Over time, that lack of thoroughness became the norm. The final straw came with a serious issue involving a financing plan for my son's treatment. Although I agreed to an 18-month, no-interest plan, the office enrolled me in a 24-month plan with 26% interest. It took me four stressful weeks and numerous calls and emails (many unanswered) to get it fixed. At one point, I was even told the account could only be canceled if I opened a new one, which felt coercive and unprofessional. As a Deaf patient, I rely on email communication, yet messages often went ignored. Two years later, I still haven't received the final statement or an explanation for the mysterious $125 credit that I was supposedly owed. Our new dentist also questioned the amount of work that was recommended here -- and several of my son's fillings had to be redone because they had fallen out, costing us $750 out of pocket. I'm sharing this so others know to review their paperwork carefully, confirm financing terms, and keep all communication in writing.

Ellie left me a voicemail saying she was having issues pulling up my information. I call MetLife first and they advised me to have the office call them and gave me another number that was not general customer service, but for providers. I called in and someone identifying herself as the office manager answered. I relayed to her that MetLife said to call them and I was to give them this number. She kept saying I need your member number and I explained nothing had changed other than the plan being COBRA now and I needed to give her this number. Long story short she declined to take the number and said she would just close out the claim, whatever that meant. I felt I needed to bring this to the public's attention. I found out what closing out the claim meant. They just sent me a bill to pay the balance . That balance is the responsibility of my insurer. I also left a message for the Dr Thomas (the dentist that owns the practice) to call me and have not received a return call ( it has been 3 days).

Dr. S…read more said I had several cavities; two on one side of my mouth that they could take care of immediately, which they did, and two more would need to be scheduled for later as they required more extensive preparation, one being underneath an existing crown on my front tooth. The remaining work would have been $1500. I decided to get another opinion. The other dental group that I went to thoroughly examined my teeth with various x rays and scans and determined that I actually had no cavities and was not in need of a crown. The two cavities that Dr. S filled that one day probably didn't need to be done either. Would not trust or recommend this group at all.

My experience here has been an absolute physical and financial nightmare. Critical Issues Faced:Severe Pain Management Neglect: During a single session, they extracted all of my teeth and placed four titanium posts in both my upper and lower jaws. They refused to prescribe any pain medication, instructing me to use only Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Because of my history with decaying teeth, I have a high tolerance to over-the-counter pain relievers. Even my primary care physician was shocked by their refusal to manage post-surgery pain and stepped in to help.Unprofessional Staff: One of the staff members was repeatedly dismissive and exhibited a highly snippy attitude when I raised concerns.Failed Restoration & Poor Bite Alignment: I specifically asked them to fix my bite before leaving. They refused, and as a direct result, the permanent implants broke within just 8 hours of the procedure.Excessive Travel Burden: Because of their refusal to listen and fix the bite alignment initially, I had to waste an entire day driving 3 hours back to the clinic (6 hours round trip), burning a full tank of gas to fix their mistake.I strongly urge anyone looking into full-mouth restorations to carefully vet the provider and look elsewhere for an oral surgeon who prioritizes patient care and proper post-op management and also implanting wasted another full day of work and over 2 tanks of gasoline because of their mistake is when they had taken out my teeth but apparently they left a point ofmy jaw and after weeks of excruciating pain.... all while they tell me I'm imagining it because there should be no pain is what they said all up until a sharp point of bone stabbed through the roof of my mouth ..... What was most frustrating was that during my visits here, I was always told, "Great job brushing," and I was never informed of any concerns or areas that needed closer attention. It also felt like the office was more focused on scheduling my 6-month follow-up appointments than on thoroughly addressing my dental health and providing clear communication about my care. I had referred family and friends to this office, and unfortunately, they experienced similar issues. Communication and follow-up are very important when it comes to dental care, and I feel this was lacking. The office staff also did not provide a welcoming experience, and there seemed to be constant staff changes during the time I was a patient. I was then told that during my initial call, my information was likely not documented, which was quite concerning. I requested to speak with a manager. Shortly after, the same staff member returned to the line and stated that my insurance was, in fact, accepted--an answer that only came after I requested escalation. I reiterated my request to speak with a manager, at which point Carla identified herself as the manager. Carla attributed the initial issue to a call center, but when I pointed out that I received the same response during my follow-up call, she explained that the staff member was new. Unfortunately, Carla did not demonstrate a sense of accountability or urgency regarding the situation. Her response conveyed that this experience was not a significant concern, which was disappointing and did not reflect a high standard of customer service. Overall, this experience left me with little confidence in the organization's communication and administrative processes.
