#2. INSTALLATION FAULTS [ORIGINAL 221 WORDS] I had barely…read moregot home after the protracted FIVE MONTHS installation saga (#1), when there was an obvious rattle, under the car. On inspection, I discovered that the two bolts supporting the muffler assembly to the mid-cross-member, had not been re-installed. (No. 1 of SIXTEEN SERIOUS INSTALLATION FAULTS). In order to avoid confrontation with Cussed Coffey, I installed replacement bolts myself. I attempted to use the Air Conditioning (A/C), but could get no response. I booked the car in locally to have a regas--15/11/23--only to discover that the section of the A/C pipe--compressor to condenser--see diagram--was broken off at the compressor. Mr Coffey had opted to leave the A/C system intact during the installation, thus avoiding degassing and then regassing. The A/C pipe is surrounded by many obstacles that have to be removed before removing the motor, leaving the A/C pipe precariously hanging to one side, and with a long thin downward section of the pipe connecting to the compressor. This is very easily broken from the compressor. And this is what happened. (No. 2. of SIXTEEN SERIOUS INSTALLATION FAULTS). Coffey never said a word. I ordered a replacement pipe to be delivered to an address in Brisbane, since it would not arrive before my departure. BUT THAT WAS ONLY THE START.
