Where do I start? I took my car to Ultra Tune Stirling after only ever going to Holden dealers. I dropped my car off at 8.30am ready for a handbook service and was told they would call me at 12pm when it's read. Come 12.15pm I'd still heard nothing, eventually I got a phone call from them where they told me they were closing, I'd need to pay over the phone and they would leave my key on the tyre. When I came to pick up my car, sure enough my key was sitting on my tyre in clear view. Not to mention, weeks later I found they never put coolant in my car. Their head office is rude, so don't bother trying to resolve your issues with them. Unbelievable. Charge a premium price and don't fulfil it. read more

Terrible business. Will never take my car here again. No respect for women, man behind counter ignored me 90% of the time and spoke directly to my husband despite it being my car and my money paying for the service!! Also decided to service a part of my mothers car 60,000 KM's early. Disgraceful and opportunistic. read more

I supported these guys for years as they are my local mechanic despite never being particularly happy with their service or the people that provided it. The main guy (I guess the owner) was always abrupt to me at best and my partner always complained that he treated her in a demeaning manner. Despite that we still supported them until the last service we received from them. Prior to the service I knew the coolant level to be low which I found to be a little strange as the previous service included a cooling system overhaul. I had the service done but for some reason I was compelled to check the coolant level again the next day. To my surprise, it was still at rock bottom (despite being charged for coolant in the service mind you) so I took it back that morning where they had another look and concurred that there was in fact barely any coolant in the reservoir. He was gracious enough to top it up to the bare minimum level and not a drop more and was not the least bit apologetic about either not doing it the day before or not diagnosing a leak. Anyway, we drove on and it wasn't too much longer after that that the heater failed, which I know is a sign that the coolant level may be low, which it was again. I decided to not give Stirling Ultratune the benefit of the doubt again and booked it in for its next service at a mechanic that had been recommended to me in Adelaide. It took this guy about 5 minutes to establish that there was indeed a leak in the cooling system and repair it and it seems fair enough to assume that it was there and should have been as obvious to the good folk at Ultratune should they have bothered to check it either during the service or at the very least the next day when I returned with an empty reservoir. In short, I always had a bad feeling about them an I now feel vindicated. I'd urge anybody else to seek alternative options. read more
