The staff are efficient and reasonable, which suits me just fine. I got referred here from a family member, who got referred from a friend and so on. In all I have never heard any complaints across he board, and although it is not necessary the fanciest garage in the world, it still get the job done with little fuss. So next time you get quoted an insane price to fix your car, perhaps visit Transtc Automotives before shedding any tears. The only thing is that they are not open weekends, which can be a bit of a bugger depending on when your car decides to give up on you.

Went to the shop that…read moredoes my tuning and they put me onto 2 'transmission' guys in the city. 1 was hazy on price / what I was describing & I had to book in a time for him to do an assessment of the error messages. This guy said "yep seen 100-150" / this is the price / drop in wherever and we'll hook it up & have a look. That computer readout took 5 minutes! Gave then the job. All done at the price quoted that was a lot less than the other guy... Recommend!

I recently started looking for a new mechanic after an unexpectedly high service bill ($779.00 for…read morea service) from my dealership. The itemised bill I received from the dealership was vague and confusing. I decided to look for a more affordable establishment and one closer to home. But this review is not about the dealership this review is about Adelaide Exclusive Mechanical. I found the staff at AEM to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Steve was great in handling my enquiry and although I am a lay-man, spoke to me on level, not down to me. Jeff had even worked at (the dealership) for 20 years and was familiar with my type of car. The result is that I've had my issue fixed for less than I was quoted for a diagnosis of the issue. I am very satisfied with the service I received from here and I will do business here again.

Since 9am and I have been sitting in the customer lounge here and City Holden whilst waiting for my…read morepartners car to have completed a full third year service. The staff here are the friendly and smiley type, and whoever is hiring here likes their blonde women. They (the men behind the service desk) professionally went through all of the specific requirements of the current procedure (service). This includes all the basics as well as an inside and outside clean, which all together totals at a bit over three hundred dollars ($340)..... and now we wait. The facilities themselves are nice, new, spacious and located on Port Road. The members lounge where we are currently waiting is a fairly modernised design with a spiral metallic staircase situated somewhat in the centre of the room, and directly amidst a secretarial area. There is also views of the mechanical car yard and the sales cars. For further customer convenience there is free coffee available, a plasma television and various tables and chairs. No free WI-FI though, FYI. That's kind of lame. Now fast forwarding to the final verdict, the service took about an hour and half, which I get told is pretty normal. The results of the service seem pretty peachy, and although it is probably pricer than your average small guy Joe, when it comes to garage and car sales, City Mazda provides a pleasant and professional sort of experience. Super friendly.
