Less than 24hrs later I requested the deposit back as I had a change in circumstances. He was very unprofessional, replying with laughing emoji faces & refused to give it back. I never signed anything, I have our whole conversation in writing & he never mentioned that it was non-refundable. Every other card yard has had refundable deposits. I'm in the process of reaching out for legal advice as based on his 2 star seller reviews on facebook, its probable I'm not the only person he's done this to. IF I had signed a contract (which i did not) he would be eligible to keep $100. As I wasn't aware of any terms regarding the deposit, he shouldn't be withholding it. I've sent him multiple links to various legal sites (SA GOV, Ombudsman etc) stating he is in the wrong & he has stopped replying. Be VERY wary if you contact him about any cars as he has a crazy amount up for sale currently, advertised only on facebook.

My partner was recently in an accident. It was pretty severe with two cars hitting her as she…read moreturned right. While the first was an accident, the second was caused by a driver not wearing his glasses when he should have been. This caused the most damage and it was up to me to find a place to get her car fixed. The car was drivable but the damage was so severe that every place I went to said it would be a write off. We had a couple more options, one of them was this place. We drove the car in, got it inspected and were assured that they could fix it. We left the car with them, and about a week later returned to find that my partners car was nice and shiny again. It looked almost new and she was delighted. We were told that a lot of work was involved, but as it was an insurance job we didn't pay anything other than the premiums anyway. The staff were wonderful and a delight to deal with until it was discovered that the door interior was loose. When we took it back we were treated like a minor inconvenience. I say minor because while they were visibly annoyed they were still pleasant to us. Anyway, after the second visit everything was fine. However, if they had done the job properly in the first place it could have been avoided. I still rate them highly and recommend them for the simple fact that they were the only ones who didn't write the car off and gave it a shot.

Money saved in your pocket - your a winner! Highly recommend, due to the friendly and reliable service, and in addition, due to not feeling pressured into having work performed if not necessary. This is rare in the car industry. They will however highlight areas for future attention, should they discover them. Give them a go, you will be pleasantly surprised at their workmanship, their reliability, friendliness & the price.
