There's one dude at the pickleball courts who got unreasonably mad at a hiccup I did. I apologized two times but he proceeded to try and call me out in front of everyone, seems like he knew everyone there, and I was brand new here. Idk what else I could have done besides apologizing. Was he expecting me to start bowing down on the ground and begging for forgiveness? I just have no idea what he was expecting. People getting this mad at a public court should stick to private pickleball places like the hub in Campbell and leave the rest of us who are able to have a good time alone. If this is how the people are at this court I'm going to stick to the Cupertino memorial park court, much more friendlier people. Also some of the courts are ripped apart. read more

Train themed playground. Nice park with the springy rubber ground (yay, no wood chips!). There are three separate play structures. Unfortunately they are not shaded, other than a few small sections covered by peaked roofs, or if you stay under the play structures. It gets quite hot even late morning in the summer. I noticed that the only kids that were there around 11 am were all hanging out in the shade under the play structures. There are public restrooms and picnic tables (some shaded). read more

I liked this park a lot and am adding it to the rotation. It is a good sized neighborhood park with a nice walking path that goes through and around the park. Came around noon in a weekday- few people half of who were masked. I liked that the playground was suited for toddlers so my daughter was able to enjoy without having to feel like it was to hard or unsafe for her to navigate the area. This park is great for many reasons. They have tennis courts, but what's better is that it has lights! Most recently, I also found out that there are pickle ball nets set up which is my newest obsession. Only downfall is that is does take away from tennis as it is played on the tennis courts. I love the big field in the back where you can run around, picnic, or play baseball. Taco trucks frequent the street parking. Great park! read more

Nice park for children of all ages. This park is spacious, clean, and has BBQ grills available on a first come first serve basis. Perks of Paul Moore Park are the open field for sports, water fights, kite flying, and even a lowkey picnic under a nice shady spot. The park also comes equipped with not one but TWO courts [tennis & basketball] and a play area| jungle gym for both smaller kids and bigger kids. Ice cream man makes his way throughout the park periodically so make sure to bring small bills to indulge your little one with. 5/5. This place is guaranteed fun for the whole fam!! read more

The actual play structures here are great! One is for toddlers and it is set up like a train and there are seats that have horses on them and a play structure for older kiddos. The swings could definitely use some wd40. Why 3 stars? It may have been bad luck, but honestly you can rate a park based on the parents and the way they monitor their kiddos. In the span of the 20 minutes we were there: a couple of adults walking around the park, smoking cigarettes; a boy crawled by my daughter in an incredibly small space and went in front of her to go down a slide with no regard of her whatsoever, parent not to be found. Yikes. I definitely don't want my daughter to learn that kind of behavior. Of course, litter on the ground too. Teens across the street yelling curse words. Super family friendly (not!) I like this park its on Hillsdale and Cherry ave, SW-ish San Jose. Willow Glen-ish. I come here after I ride my bike to cool down and also practice my meditation exercises on the lawn area. It's big park, lots of space to share with people. Baseball field, basketball court and tennis court. Kids play area AANNNND the kicker: dirty public restrooms. Ha. Clean up that static. Today was my first time at this park. We recently moved to the area and the park is a 3 min drive or a 15 min walk for us. I came here early morning for a play date for my 3 year old and another child. This park does not have all the fancy new structures like rotary or seven seas but it has solid play areas for both little kids and older kids. There's a big grass area in the back of the playground for kids to run around and age appropriate structures. There's a big train like play space in the middle that held my 3 year old's attention along with slides and swings. I'll definitely come here again another day. read more

This neighborhood park in the Cambrian area is quite nice and clean. There are lots of playground areas for the kids. One playground are for the older kids and the other playground are for the little toddlers. Lots of kids were playing. This park has also basketball courts and tennis courts. Nice, clean, and shaded bench and picnic areas. It's definitely a great place for kids. My niece loved playing there! I wanted to join in as well! read more

I do not have a dog, but I do have kids. We have had picnics, birthday parties, family time and more at Paul Moore Park. My Cub Scout pack had our annual picnic here and we had a great time! The direction I got through Yelp wasn't clear. The sign that states that this is Paul Moore Park was hidden from the main streets (at least from where I was driving from). It was a hot ass Wednesday but since Michael wanted me to pick a park for Tess to play, the only right thing to do was to Yelp the nearest park since I was at La Villa ordering my secret sandwich.. and yes, the same hottie made my sandwich and even said he remembers the tall ambulance guy that ordered the, "Death Sandwich." I parked. My Daughter and I walked towards the playground.. I was bummed to find out that the playgrounds were closed off.. no signs.. no nothing so I already have a bad mark of this park. My Daughter and I sat (BTW this park has little shading seating area) down at a bench near the basketball court and called up Michael to tell him that this park is thumbs down so what did he decide? He will drive out of his way to meet us at Cataldi Park.. the park 2 minutes from my house. I regret not deciding on Cataldi from the get go. read more

Cool little park in the Cambrian neighborhood of San jose. Has shade and several play areas and multiple slides. Great that they have that rubbery ground as well since the days of tan bark and sand are long gone (thank goodness). read more

This is the closest park near me, in fact it's half a block away. haha They renovated it with in the last few years. I think of this as a big small park. It has a baseball field, and more grass areas for soccer, two tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, 1 normal swing set with 3 swings, and then 1 seated swing, and another swing set for toddles and then a tire swing. This place also has bathroom. The ground always seems to be wet, but it's better than a lot of other parks because this always seems to have toilet paper in stock. There's a few picnic tables with small bbq grills to use. There's probable like 5 of them or so. There's a few trees to go under if it's too sunny. read more

Definitely recommended. Very safe and lots to do, and when you get bored with the play structures (which takes quiet a while) there is a huge field for kites or soccer or catch or picnics... Very clean park too, which is important, and the openness makes me feel very safe and makes it seem bigger than it probably is. You don't have to worry about teenagers smoking pot on the swings, or gangs tagging up the place because it is all very visible from all directions. One of our new favorites! read more

This is a good park to go to. I went here today and it was quite busy. There were a lot of kids there. There's street parking and there was an ice cream truck there when we arrived and all the kids were buying ice cream or popsicles. I got the vanilla Big Dipper cone. There's two separate playgrounds close to each other, a round net that kids sit inside and someone spins them around. There's a tire swing. It's spacious enough for kids to run around. The basketball court was busy with some older kids and there's a grass area to run around. Only thing I had to watch out for is that it's close to the street and I was worried about that. read more

The giant toy 'train' that is a play set won my toddler over within a minute. And the 'swings, swings, SWIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGS...' (Direct quote) came in a close second. This park has almost everything. In addition to the usual swings, slides and children's play structures it also has basketball and tennis courts. I'm excited to explore this park even more to see what it has to offer! This is a great neighborhood park! My 6-year-old loves the playgrounds, which include 3 sections: One with lots of climbing, swinging, and sliding stuff; One with regular swings and a tire swing; and one with kiddie stuff, including a cool train, mini slide, and mini climbing stuff. It's a clean park, decent sized (large but not so huge that you lose sight of your kid), and seems to attract friendly, neighborhood families. It also has lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, bathrooms, small picnic areas, LOTS of grass area, and a baseball diamond. Pretty cool place to hang out. read more

My family and I celebrated the 4th of July at this park! We did not make a reservation because the reserved area lacks shade. We got there super early and grabbed a shaded table. The playgrounds are great and the restrooms were clean! The downfall to the restrooms was No Soap! Plenty of parking, nice neighborhood and tons of open grass space too! read more

I was invite here for a birthday party, I did not even know this park was here until I looked up the address on goggle maps. I was surprised to find this park was here, and what more I was surprised about, how clean and well kept this park is. I see they have plenty of activities to do here, like the two different playground for the kids, one of smaller kids and one for older kids. They also have tennis and basketball courts, along with baseball fields on the other side of the park, plus plenty of room for picnics and other activities. Oh yes, they also have bathrooms on site along with water stations, but I did not try either of them. Overall this is a great place to spend a day or just an afternoon enjoying this great weather we have here in the Bay Area. read more

I wanted to give this local park (free ample parking) a 5 star rating, as it had multiple basketball courts, a well maintained jungle gym for the kids, clean trails and more, but the problem is I hurt myself tripping into a ditch in the baseball field that had a sewer cover on it, but was not level. This is very dangerous for anyone running while playing baseball/softball if there's a sudden whole. I'm glad I didn't break my ankle. I really hope they fix this major injury violation somehow. Grass fields should not have random grates and holes that are purposely built in. I wonder how many others have hurt themselves. A shame. read more

Paul Moore Park is a nice (large) park that pretty much covers all the neighborhood's needs. It has tennis courts, a basketball court a very nice baseball diamond (bring your own bases). There are also two different playgrounds and bathrooms. There are several picnic tables and BBQ pits. If you are planning a group outing get here early to stake out your tables as they get claimed quickly. read more

I used to go here a couple times a week with my toddler but now I go to smaller neighborhood parks that may not be as extensive, but they're clean and they're frequented by locals who tend to set a better example and keep things nice and clean. read more

Four lighted tennis courts. Not in the greatest condition, but the only place I can think of to play at night. Gets a four star because of my experience of a fellow who called the police because he could not get on a tennis court as he rudely attempted to steal a court. read more

Loved this park! The structures are so adorable and have a lot to do so that the kids don't get bored. The toddler part is great and bigger than some of the other parks in the area. There are plenty of swings and a small sand area for the kids, which is a plus because my son loves playing in the sand. There are a lot of dogs around, all very friendly and my son loved chasing them around. Bathrooms are right in between the toddler section and the big kids playground so they are very accessible. read more

Had a pretty fun time here. For a Saturday afternoon, there weren't a lot of people playing at these courts considering it's a pretty visible park near a large street. I haven't ventured out to other areas of the park, but it is a pretty good size. There's picnic areas next to the tennis courts and also some basketball courts. i brought my toddler here. Huge playground with separate areas for toddler versus big kids. Not gated. Plenty of street parking near the playgrounds. Bathrooms and drinking fountain are conveniently located adjacent to both playgrounds. Seems not well-shaded in midday, but lots of trees for late afternoon sun. Playground ground is soft rubber while swings area is bark. Updated structures, safe, with musical instruments theme. Big kids section has ropes for climbing, and plenty of space beneath the structure for people who need small enclosures (sensory kids). All structures are wheelchair accessible. Both sides have low rock structures for climbing. Toddler side has two enticing structures, two bouncy horse carriages that fit two kids in each (decreasing the need to fight for a turn). Both sides have plenty of shaded benches and tables for snacking or grandparents to sit. Swings area has a handicapped swing that actually still buckles safely. Only negative is that the ladies restroom smelled and had no soap, but did have paper towels. read more
