I made an appointment for higlighting. I was greeted @ the front desk & taken back with Audrey (a Student). She was wonderful-She spent 3 hours with me cutting my hair & hightlighting my head with foils (that was tediuos). By the time she took the foils out ; I was asked by Audrey & her instrucor if I liked the color or if not they could put a toner on it to make my hair blended; which we did. I had my hair styled-Audrey wasn't going to let me leave unless I was happy. She mentioned that I should go home to sleep on it. If I wanted to see her again (at No cost) she would be available the following week. Everyone at the school was So very Nice; helpful & treated me like I was Special. Oh, the price was also right! I love getting relaxing scalp treatments, facials, massages and my nails done here! The staff and students are always super nice and the school is always very welcoming and clean. The students are so talented and always trying their best! I've always had a good experience here and I enjoy going for a girls day with friends or with my mom and getting pampered! It makes for a really fun day! If you come to the school, remember it is that, a school. Mistakes will be made. I've been coming here for the past 3 or 4 years. You have to be EXACT with the student about the services you are wanting. Probably a helpful tip to not talk too much because they are in fact students there to learn. Probably the worst experience I've ever had in a hair place period!!!!! I have gone to the school many times and I've seen different students and they've always did a great job. I'm not sure if you're familiar with how beauty schools go but they usually have a teacher to consult with before and after your service. I had a girl named JENNY who is a teacher at the school. I had called the other day to make sure I still had an appointment to get my extensions done as I've gone there multiple times to get them done and they do such a good job. She argued back and forth with me over The phone because one time I went there with another student just to get a wash I left unhappy which is very odd because I'm always very satisfied if not mine blown on how good the students do my hair and take care of me. That day I had left the salon I still have product in my hair and I was charged double on my debit card. Nevertheless I didn't complain much I was just bringing it to their attention the next time I came in. When I had called to confirm an appointment she argued back-and-forth with me telling me I shouldn't come to Paul Mitchell Logan anymore because I complain all the time and nothing they do is ever satisfactory for me. She then went on and told me that I should go and see someone else or go to a persons home to do it which happens to be one of the students that attend the school. Come to find out that's illegal so she gave me legal advice. She is yelling over the phone with me and then she hung up on me. I was very upset because every time I come there everyone is so nice except her. I had called and spoke to DEVRY And shared with her my concerns and she called me back shortly after on speakerphone with Jenny. They never apologize to me about the way that Jenny had spoke to me or addressed anything besides the fact that I knew I didn't have an appointment and another personal information. The customer service here sucks they don't put their clients first and the sad part is is their excuses are that theyre students wnd what do you expect from them? Well you're the teacher and I expect you to set the students up to be successful. It's sad that I have passed this along to corporate Paul Mitchell because this behavior is not OK and Jenny is not OK. TERRIBLE!!!! read more

I would not recommend this school for any spa visits. If I had not paid or was given a big discount, I would have felt fine about this experience, but since I paid $20/piece for my daughter and I to have a basic facial (which mine lasted about 15 minutes and the girl kept walking in and out during the treatment) I felt ripped off. The dance music was SO loud competing with their Enya in the small spa area- seriously, it was the worst experience I've ever had. I did NOT relax at all during this facial and actually felt way more stressed when it was done! After telling the manager, Sarah, she offered me two VIP treatments for compensation and then I waited another 10 minutes before finally leaving without the coupons! I am SUPER unimpressed and do not recommend anyone wasting their money here! read more

I had a terrible experience once at a beauty school in Arizona were the instructors were so serious and the student was slow, but Shania and Leah (hope I'm spelling names somewhat right) did an AMAZING job on my hair when I tried to bleach and dye it myself! Absolutely amazing! I have red hair and they knew EXACTLY how to fix my odd slightly green bleach job! I love these guys! I felt lied to. I understand these girls are students but when I went, they told me the hair color would wash out in 9 washes and there would be no line when my hair would grow out. I have light brown hair naturally and dyed it a dark brown. Ginger was my hair stylist. She did an all over color.
