Meet the Business Owner: Amy J.

A few years ago, Michael and Amy James saw a need in their community for a childcare center. In 2016 they decided to begin the journey to make their dream a reality. With the help of some amazing people construction on their newly designed building commenced in August of 2017. In 2009 the James family moved to Smithfield with their 3 children Justin, Christopher and Chloe. Amy will serve as Director at Doodlebug Academy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Utah State University and later earned her Early Childhood Education Certificate from Ashworth College. She loves children and teaching and looks forward to this new adventure at Doodlebug Academy. We are confident that you and your children will love the enriching Doodlebug Academy experience that we have worked so hard to make a reality!
