I originally turned to Yelp to find help find a local provider to deal with a blocked ear canal…read more These tend to happen to me, such as swimmers ear. Reviews seemed amicable so I gave it a shot. Only fair that I provide my experience to round out the Yelp perspective... As I mentioned, I simply went in for a blocked ear canal. The office team seemed nice, fairly fancy waiting room, and they gladly scanned my health insurance to get things started. Once the assistant led me into the room, I was told that 'normal procedure is a Cat Scan'. A CAT SCAN to start?!, without any evaluation? I clarified I do not need a Cat Scan for a blocked ear canal..they begrudgingly obliged. The practitioner took care of me. Indeed, it was just a plugged ear canal and a minor one at that. For some reason they wanted to look up my nose. Feeling comfortable with the practitioner, I followed her guidance there. Next they used a machine to zap the ear wax out of my ear - that took about 1 minute or so given there wasn't much. That solved the issue. Well guess how much that visit hit me for? $1,600. Yes. $1,600 for clearing out some ear wax. My post-service impression, with their pushing of a CAT SCAN (which I denied) and unnecessary practice to look up my nose for a plugged ear is a sign that they clearly wanted to run up the bill as much as possible. Well, there you have it. Take the review for what it is, my experience was fine, but a $1,600 bill is as egregious as it gets in the medical field.

BEWARE! I would rate this Dr. a big fat 0 if I could. This Dr. is only out for the fast money…read more Their M.O. is to rush you in to their CT scanner , then the PA ( Nikita) will look right at you and tell you that there are NO INFECTIONs , even told me to stop all antibiotics which I of course had a bad sinus infection which I told them even before the appointment and had to have surgery later They immediately sell you the balloon procedure and get you to schedule it ASAP. You are not allowed to see the Dr. even if you get the balloon procedure, afterwards, once they are paid, they literally tell you to go elsewhere with your problem. SCAMMERS. I believe the office staff is on a commission basis to sell the balloon procedure for the Dr. as its an average $10,000 for 5- minutes of work. Unfortunately, I've been through 5/6 ENT Dr.'s and was very desperate.

In Dec 2025 I saw a dif't ENT who told me that the RhinaAer would never be covered by my insurance…read moreso I found Valley ENT in my insurer's portal and called to find out if they perform Clarifix instead. They do. Booked the appt. Found out 2 days before my Valley ENT appt that my insurance approved it after all, but I was already scheduled to see Dr. Kelsch @ Valley ENT so I kept the appt. I explained that I already had a scope and sinus ENT 2 weeks prior but they said they needed their own. Fine. But then when we were ready to discuss the 2 options, Dr. Kelsch left the room and returned with 1 pamphlet for each (not super helpful when you want to know deeper, and pros and cons). He stood in the doorway, one foot and his body halfway out, and apparently my appt was over with no oppty for education or Q&A. WTH? Fine, so I asked the out-nurse about the procedures. She looked at me funny. I told her I didn't get education or Q&A from Dr. Kelsch and she said that was very strange. Ok, sounds he normally does, but did not for me. A few days later I left a VM asking for websites Dr. Kelsch recommended for self-education, and an oppty for a phone call Q&A with him. No reply. Fine, maybe VM not working. CALLED AGAIN, talked to a medical assistant, explained what I needed. Three weeks later, STILL NO REPLY. Fine, I'm already approved at the other ENT so I'M GOING BACK THERE. I think I've given AZ Valley ENT the benefit of the doubt enough times. I initially chose to call them since the reviews were good on my insurer's portal but seeing the reviews here, I realize that I should have also checked Google reviews. Maybe other ppl get a better experience but they kept dropping the ball on my end. Good thing it wasn't something URGENT.

No, you'll enter that when you register online after we send you the link. Nothing. A week before my appointment in late January I called them. They read my email address to me. The part that has my last name was misspelled. I gave them the correct spelling letter by letter. Again. Several days later I called back because I still hadn't received an email from them. Yet another creative misspelling of my last name. I finally got the link. The portal that they use is so poorly designed that I decided that I'll finish it there. I arrived 30 minutes early. I handed them my insurance cards and held up my driver's license next to my face so that they could confirm that it's me. Only they insist on scanning my driver's license. I remind them that it's required to confirm that it's me. Period. Nothing more. We went around a couple of times and ended with the manager stating that it's their policy and that if I won't let them scan my driver's license they can't see me. The end. I went looking for another ENT doctor.

I have to write this because I had an unpleasant experience few months ago…read more My right ear was hurting from flying Paris-Phoenix in mid July and as soon as I landed in phoenix I called the office to make an appointment. I didn't get to see Dr. Weiner until mid August, you know how it is that you can't get in right away. By the time I went to see Dr. Weiner, my ear was already fine. He checked my both ears anyway and he said that my right ear had wax, so he did the cerumen removal. Everything went well, so I was happy with the service. Prior to the cerumen removal, I was ordered to get hearing test. I told the hearing lady that my hearing was fine and I didn't need a hearing test, but she insisted and made me to sign the paperwork. I asked her multiple times that the insurance will cover for the test and she said yes! On the following month I received bill from this office with amount of $120.45. I called the billing company and she said yes I had to pay that amount after insurance deductible. In the statement description also they charged me $221 for a new patient. I was like really! I wasn't new because I came to this office for wax removal before.Plus I never heard doctors will charge for the new patients, where was that come from. Dr. Weiner was a wonderful ENT, but unfortunately the management was very poor. So disappointing.

Dr Weiner picked up my nervousness immediately and the first thing he did was cracked a pretty funny joke, which immediately took the tension off. It was perfect! The surgery was completed in no-time, a few days for recovery and I can tell you wonderful it is to actually breathe through both nostrils at the same time and to have a better sense of smell again. Very pleased with the outcome. You never feel Dr Weiner is rushing things during office visits. He is completely present for you and your questions. He is just a pleasant doctor and good-hearted person to talk to. He cares.

INCREDIBLE DOCTOR, IMPECCABLE RESULTS. PERCISION IN EVERY DETAIL…read more My entire patient care experience was intentional and relational. Not only was Dr. Gawley informative, but he was also genuinely thoughtful and inquisitive prior to operating to ensure I achieved my desired surgical outcome with comfort and confidence. Within 48 hours of my augmentation, I was already certain I'd made the right decision, my only remaining question was, "Why didn't I do this sooner?" Pain was minimal and recovery was as described. I am now 1-month post-op and thrilled with my results. Dr. Gawley's EXPERTISE MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE when recommending my implant sizing to achieve the proportional, natural looking result I was anticipating. His aesthetic judgement was noteworthy and his expertise was evident. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Gawley.

Interesting recent turn of events at MD Plastic Surgery Gawley. In Oct. 2025 I called and…read morerequested an appointment with Gawley and was told that I would have to pay a consulting fee of $250 plus a $2,000 surgery fee if I wanted an appointment, even though I was a returning client. I questioned why I had to pay a surgery fee up front when I hadn't even seen him. She said that the fee was refundable if I changed my mind after the consultation. I have also been a skin club member of MD Skin for the past 5 years. The next day I got a call from my MD aesthetician saying that skin club members did not have to pay the consultation fee. I saw Dr. Gawley for my appointment and decided not to have the $35K surgery and requested a refund of both the surgery fee and the consultation fee which had been waived. That's where the fun began. The next week I stopped by the office to check on my refund and casually mentioned to the front desk that I would like to make an appointment for a facial consultation. She said that they had just had a cancellation and that Dr. Gawley could see me immediately. He explained that he could not do what I wanted and was concerned that I wouldn't be happy with the results. So I decided that I would not have a $51K surgery that I wouldn't be happy with, and I left the office reminding everyone that I had not received my refund to my bankcard. For the next 2 months I asked for a refund of my $2250 deposit with no response except to pass me on to someone else. Then I talked to the bookkeeper who said she was not going to refund my $2250 and the reasons she gave made no sense. After several more phone calls, I finally talked with Kerri White-Singleton who said that she was the CEO of MD Gawley. She gave me the same rude and pushy run around in a lengthy phone call in which she talked non stop until I said "Let's cut to the chase - are you refunding my deposit or not?" At that point she said that she would make the refund which I finally received the day after Christmas. My recommendation??? Stay away from MD Gawley Plastic Surgery.
