What happened was a complete confusion, since I had already asked another service to do the work. This Start Pool Cleaner showed up when I was not present, let himself in through the side gate, without any prior announcement, and proceeded to do the cleaning without ever being asked to do so. I found out two months later that I owed them for cleanings that were never agreed to, and the owner came and changed my filter without my presence, which might have been better had he made it known in advance the actual day and time so that I could be there to pay attention to it. I paid another pool service the same two months, so I was double charged by Star even though I did not sign any contracts, or even meet them in person.

Do not be fooled by Felipe's soft spoken easy going manner. He is ruthless. In my opinion he is not qualified in pool restoration and uses fly by night sub contractors. I gave him a credit card authorization for a one time small down payment only because he was having trouble depositing checks with his bank. Felipe charged me a 7% credit card fee which he promised to return but never did. He made two other charges using the card without my authorization and I didn't find out until it was too late. I had to report the card as lost. The worst part of the project is that Felipe of Premium Pools charged my account and walked away with the sloppy tile work that was never fixed, the fire-up which was never completed and a burned out pool motor which his subcontractors caused and never disclosed. If you hire this company to do your pool restoration and wind up with money and quality work issues, I told you so. Beware.

Many places would quote online without visiting. The owner of 360 came himself and spent time understanding the pool and the needs. He quoted a price and explained the service well and was very attentive- He explained what was important and his approach They take their time during the service and send photos documenting everything that was done. I feel they take a lot of care and manage both the science of it and the art of customer care. I have had Pool Troopers maintaining my pool and large fountain for the last 1.5 years. They have…read morebeen terrific until this last 2 months. Two months ago, they have become horrific!! I have called headquarters twice now reporting the lack of service. They have assured me that the local service supervisor would get back to me. Initially he did. I told him that the fountain has been green for 2 months. No one is adding chemicals. I told him that the person maintaining the pool is adding chlorine. I have a salt water system and salt should be added, never chlorine. I even reported that I told the service person 3 times of this problem, but his English is not good and only responded by saying I only add chemicals. Gates have been left open. Pool equipment has been damaged. I contacted HQ again about this situation and I was told that the local people would get back to me. That was last week and I am still waiting. The fountain is still green. No chemicals have been added. They are still charging me for service and I am receiving their standard email stating that the pool and fountain have been serviced and there were no issues. Although the pool is crystal, the last time they put salt in the pool, they did not care how thy did it. Salt was poured all over one of the children's float in the pool. Simply sloppy ad very unprofessional. I am still waiting for a phone call, an email or text from them to understand why I can no longer receive acceptable service!!!
