I have used Almir services in the past, but I had failed to review. Today I must boast about the fantastic job they did on my Lucky jeans. Everyone has a favorite pair of jeans and I have had mine stashed away for a bit as I knew they needed some repair. I refused to part with them so as I was cleaning my closet out I showed my daughter my old jeans. She immediately spoke up and said take them to Almir. He will repair and make them like new again. I took her advice and today and picked up my beautiful pair of jeans with new belt loops and interior patches added. They look so good and I can hardly wait to wear them. The workmanship is fantastic. I am so grateful for the care they took with my jeans. Almir and his crew provide alterations, embroidery, mending and repair, custom tailoring, and they are able to create reproductions. They also offer a beautiful collection of wedding gowns. Almir is so personable and the customer service is easily 10 stars! Pricing is very reasonable and fair. Parking is easy as they have several dedicated parking spots in front of the business. I am a very tiny person, standing at 5ft2, so the dress completely swallowed me. I was obviously distraught, but my mom suggested looking to get it tailored, and we ended up finding Stefanovic! we brought it in just one week before the convention, and we weren't sure if we would be able to get it in time. but they were absolutely incredible, and were able to shorten it in just 4 days!! I am so so happy that they were to help me, and on such short notice. for $230, we were able to get such a detailed dress tailored exactly to perfection. These pants were way bigger than I thought when I bought them -- the waist fit already but the super oversized fit in this material was not what I was going for. She completely understood the look I wanted, she kept the style but tailored them perfectly. I'm not going to lie, the service was a bit pricey, but I felt as though the way they were done was perfect. You wouldn't even know it wasn't the original look. I wish I did a before and after pic! They assured me they could. After waiting about a month, I picked it up today and was honestly shocked at the result. Instead of repairing the strap with appropriate leather or a comparable material, they replaced it with a thin plastic/vinyl material that feels like the quality of a grocery store bag. It looks cheap, feels flimsy, and completely ruined the overall look and integrity of the purse. This cost $70. I had no problem paying that amount for a proper, professional repair--but this was neither professional nor acceptable. I brought the issue to their attention immediately, and their response was essentially, "sorry, that's the best we could do." No effort was made to fix the problem or offer a solution. If you care about your leather goods, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for repairs. This was a waste of both time and money.

It's a typical dry cleaners. They do have a K-cups machine with a few selection set up for a free cup of joe to get you going, which is a nice touch, but it's their service & prices that make this location a win. I dropped off 8 pieces on Saturday and they were ready for pick up on Monday morning! One of my dresses, the top half is white and the bottom half is black, was not dry cleaned...they informed me that they preformed a test & were concerned that the black would bleed into the white and wanted to inform me of the possibility of it bleeding before cleaning it. I really appreciated the fact that they didn't just dry clean it and hope that it didn't bleed over. I feel like most people would agree it's easier to be understanding when you are given a choice. Tina, the store manager was extremely helpful. She also informed me that Al Phillips will in fact take other competitors coupons-- this made my day! (I happened to have some Fazio coupons) Even before the coupons the price was still cheaper than Fazio and afterwords I ended up only paying $33 & change for 7 items!!! I arrived for pick up on Wednesday evening and was given two of the three I'd dropped off. There was absolutely no mention of the third item. I showed the employee my claim ticket, which showed three items, and asked where the dress was. Another employee looked in the system and said "Oh. Looks like that one is delayed." That's it. No additional details, no explanation as to why, and zero indication of when the item would be returned. When I complained, she went into challenges with a new software system. I proceeded to pay more than $30 for the two items that were ready and requested a call from the manager. This is only the latest disappointment with this location. Until recently, the large sign overhead read "next day service." Next day service hasn't been available for months. Similarly, they used to text when items were ready - no more. Customers should not pay a premium for subpar service. Once I receive the "delayed" item, I will be finding another dry cleaners.

I called ahead and specifically asked whether the advertised price was real or if I'd get there and be told the material was cheap and I needed to upgrade. They assured me the suits were high quality and the price was accurate. When I arrived, it was exactly what I expected. The special only applied to the lowest‑quality material, and to get anything decent I had to upgrade. I ended up paying an extra thousand dollars. Now that the suits are here, the material feels like absolute junk--stiff, rough, and cheap, like old polyester pants from childhood. I wouldn't buy suits from this place again.
