This second treatment was much more effective because of Elias. He always made sure I had a calm and comfortable environment. He was always very professional and excellent at his job. He was very accommodating. There were days that I was unable to go in during my regular appointment time but he found a different time in the day that I was able to attend. This allowed me to have more consistency with my treatment. He made me feel safe and at ease. I always left in such a good mood because of him. Even when I was having a horrible day, he always managed to put a smile on my face. The thing I'm absolutely looking forward to in a few months for my next treatment is for Elias to perform the sessions. I did have one issue with a different person in the office, Dr. Ruchira Densert. She always made me feel very uncomfortable. I tended to get very stressed out when she was in the room which is definitely not something you want during a therapy session. One time she actually scared me. I was in the middle of a treatment and was very relaxed and she just barged in the room. She didn't knock first so I was unprepared for the door to open. I have sensitive eyes so the light from the hallway hurt my eyes. My treatments were always with the lights off so this sudden exposure without warning caused an issue. I felt that the lack of knocking was very unprofessional. This made me feel that my privacy was disregarded. Her demeanor was always not supportive and felt unfeeling. While my encounters with Dr. Ruchira Densert were unpleasant, my overall treatment was effective. I'm grateful for the professionalism, care, and compassion I received from Elias.

I overheard a conversation between my friend and his oral surgeon, where he mentioned Ketamine and the benefits it had brought to many of his patients not only through the surgery, but with effects on their mental health. The doctor gave me additional information and with some additional research I decided to try it for my anxiety and depression which I have suffered from since I was a child. Thanks to the treatment, me and my doctors have seen noticeable improvement, I'm able to cope with and in situations calmly that I was not able to before and fly comfortably, in general, I'm happy. I have extended the benefit of the treatment to my adult child with even better results, we are motivated and have once again started exercising. Dr. Bresnick took the time to listen carefully to my history, asked detailed questions, and completed a thorough evaluation. He prepared a well-organized report with supporting documentation and provided clear treatment recommendations. He also communicated with me promptly after the evaluation and made himself available if my VA providers have any questions regarding the report. Throughout the process, I felt that he genuinely cared about helping me and treated me with professionalism and respect. All I need is more refills on my meds. The receptionists are very busy and everyone is sitting around, looking as increasingly aggravated as I feel. When I finally got to the back, the dr was super out of it. It's almost as if he is narcoleptic. Normally I would not throw a person 's age into the mix, but this dr was writing my refills and he kept forgetting what he was doing. But let…read moreme say that I understand that it's basically my fault for exaggerating to his co-workers when I told them what he said. I wouldn't have even told anything about our talks under regular circumstances, but I was in a place where I was refused discharge for years in a "voluntary" program and I was trying to get myself kicked out as I felt it was the only way to be discharged from the program, but I wasn't trying to get them mad long term and I definitely was not trying to get myself banned. Dr. Benitiez was actually the only one who gave me the OK to discharge if I wanted to. It was other staff people who forced me to stay (but they did eventually allow me to discharge). They did assure me that if I ever went back to their program, it would be voluntary. I wish that Dr. Benitez could be my psychiatrist again, but I messed up royally. He actually listens very well and is really knowledgable about medicine and everything he needs to know. He even knew side effects of my blood pressure pills. He seems to care about his patients. He helped me adjust my depression meds just right and worked with me through reducing side effects I wanted to be reduced. I would say overall, Dr. Benitez is a very good psychiatrist.
