Deservedly so. Ray and Leslie are a gem. Their team, including Michael Song and Pilar Mutec, were a pleasure to work with. I am fairly detail oriented and Pilar was so easy to work with through my multiple design changes. She showed me multiple renderings and made changes as requested on the renderings, with Mike amending the plans as needed. All the while guiding me along the way. I was minutes away from getting a variance from the DWP to allow my ADU to come within the set back from the power poles when the Palisades' fire started. The EZ Plan's team fully cooperated when the DWP said no, and redrew my plans from scratch. They helped me qualify the contractors and walked me through the differences in the bids. Whenever I had a question during the construction process, they were there to help and guide me along the way. A BIG thank you to the EZ Plans team for making their part of the construction process as easy as it could have possibly been.

The plan was functional, chic, and he checked every single box in a really smart way. We ultimately raised our ceilings, opened up our floor plan, Created an laundry room and a walk in master closet. A few issues came up along the way and Jamie and his in house engineer (Oliver) were always available for counsel and really good solutions. I really cannot say enough good things about the team. WOW was I wrong! He started by sketching a few different designs, which we discussed the pros and cons of, followed by some more detailed renderings. What Jamie came up with was far superior to anything I could have imagined and looked almost impossibly big on paper. We don't have THAT much space, do we? After the demolition the framing began and he was there to measure and make sure the builder was following the plan. At every major step of the process he was there to supervise and inspect. He actually caught a few things that weren't just right and made them fix them. Were very happy and would recommend him to anybody!

We hired Ron to do the architectural plans for the remodel of a fourplex. He came in with a fancy camera scanner to measure everything, a very efficient process. He was very much on time with the delivery of the initial draft. We discussed minor changes and submitted to the city, and they had just had a few minor corrections before approval, which is better than other architectural teams I have worked with. After we began work on the project, we discovered a beam in the ceiling was not pointing in the right direction, leading to the need for a revision to the plans. The engineer Margarito went on site and approved changes, which allowed us to quickly adapt. Overall this was a very streamlined process, I would be happy to use his services in the future and can very much recommend him.

The timeline was totally reasonable (honestly, my slow email responses probably added more time than anything on their end), and the plans were approved by the city on the first try, which was a huge relief. It was also hard to find someone willing to take on a smaller project at a fair price, and they were very thorough. Even months later, they've still been responsive with follow-up questions from our contractor. Would definitely recommend, especially for smaller renovations or additions.
