Stayed at comfort in next door. This was the closest bar walking distance. Cool crowd. Good drinks and prices. Kitchen was closed so can't comment on food. But drinks are a good size. Had 2 Jack's for 12 dollars and was nice and buzzed. And waiters were sweet. Very attentive. read more

This was our first visit there. The special of the day was a large pizza w/three toppings. It was the best pizza I've had in years! Service was good, atmosphere friendly. Patty's pub is by far my favorite place to grab a pizza in Lincoln. The "Fat Pat's Favorite" is our usual order. A cream cheese base topped with sausage, tomatos and mushrooms. Friends and family crave that pie and usually order an extra pizza to take home when they visit. Fridays special is a large 3 topping for just over $12 with tax...a deal that cant be beat! Patty's Pub has excellent food. I recommend any of the pizzas or the philly. Wait staff is usually the same, they are friendly and attentive. You do have to seat yourself, I believe they do take reservations that would be recommended if you have a larger party. The place isn't super large. read more

Our first time trying this place I took a friend and my mother for the prime rib special. Our waitress was short but knowledgeable and somewhat friendly, but the food was horrible. My mother received her baked potato and found it was not cooked through so she sent it back. The waitress brought another and upon opening it was burnt completely, so she asked for another. The waitress told us she could not guarantee the 3rd would be any better.....then why do you offer them?!? Great food. The Philly is my favorite and I add cream cheese on mine. Delicious! And they have the best onion rings in town hands down.

It's hard to find a place with great food and drinks at great prices. It's great to be in a place that plays different music than I'm used to. It's an older bar with a lot of small town character. They have keno and a pool table. They have the best pizza!! I think on Friday nights they have a special on a large pizza (otherwise they're a little pricey). This is not a good place for kids. read more

This is a casual bar/pub across from Gateway Mall. It's a hidden treasure. So friendly; it reminds me of a small town bar. The food is great pub food. Pizza is exceptional. Great sandwiches. They also have a weekly special of chicken fried steak - serving is big enough to serve two! It's not fancy and that's fine with me. I really love this place. read more

KICKED OUT FOR DOING WHAT WAITRESS ASKED! Tried to have a birthday celebration at this location recently. When tried to sit at a 6 top I was informed we were not allowed to save tables and my husband and I had to go to the bar until the rest of our party arrived. I tried to explain that more people were currently en route but the waitress Jess, would not have it and kept telling me that since it was only the 2 of us now we had to go to the bar. I was frustrated she wasn't hearing me that more people would be there soon (keep in mind they had open tables and no one was waiting.) I expressed it sounded like she didn't want my business and as she replied that was not it, but she wouldn't give my husband and I a table for 6 until our entire party arrived I turned to go to the bar. As I turned she very sarcastically tells me to have a nice night. I said excuse me, is that your way of asking me to leave? She replied you walked away from me and I said yes because I was going to the bar like you asked and then she proceeded to tell me she didn't like my attitude and to keep going. I never raised my voice, I did not curse, I simply walked away towards the bar as asked. Besides the waitress that obviously did not want to accommodate a larger party, the pub policy is any parties of 8 or more has to be on one ticket. My husband and I left and we were going to hand over party supplies to the rest of group upon their arrival and bow out of the celebration so our friend could celebrate at her place of choice. However it was not meant to be since when a 2nd member of our party arrived she was told by Jess that she was not allowed in due to guilt by association! In the end we found a much more accommodating location and moved our party to THE PUB ON 48TH AND HOLDREDGE and despite having karaoke, another birthday party and several patrons, they right away moved tables together for us and like most pubs collected cards so each couple could have their OWN tab. read more

Great experience until a six year old child was given a shot of water by a server because the parents had their own shots of alcohol. Nothing like starting them early...watching a little girl cheers with parents at bar is something I never want to see again. read more

Worst customer service experience!! I will never go back!! Waitress was very rude!! After 10 min of waiting, I had to go in and ask for a server..She had an attitude to start with, threw our coasters at us, barked at us when we asked for menus and just acted like we owed her something the entire time... I've only ever had the pizza at Patty's, but I can say it is by far some of the best pizza I've had in Lincoln. Price is excellent as well. I certainly can recommend the pizza. Place kinda looks like a dive bar and it's not super big. Good for lunch during the week. read more
